This is in Tokyo, Japan & yes it's very true!! I just experienced it for the first time this week while on vacation in Japan. My 7 year old daughter was almost crushed to death in the train and I had a difficult time trying to protect her. People were trampling on us like a heard of Rhinocerous!! It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in my life! Instead of the conductors stopping people from going on to prevent overcrowding, they actually push more people to cram them in like sardines!!
