It's so funny how Cookie Monster tries to imitate Ernie's laugh, but instead ends up sounding like he's hacking up a hairball! x-D Now I know why Frank Oz turned Ernie over to Jim instead. I could never imagine Frank performing Ernie.

I figured someone would ask. Allen Ludden was a game show host. He hosted Password from the 60's to 1980 and he was married to Betty White. He died in 1981. You can see videos of him on YouTube. Type in "Password Plus".
