This mascara rocks. I have super long, thick lower lashes and it has been a godsend. No matter what mascara I have used in the past, it has rubbed off on my undereye area. Not with this stuff. It may be great for those with skimpy lower lashes, but those with thick lower lashes should still give it a try.

When I went to buy this the counter was sold out so they gave me a disposable wand to use so you must be able to get them somewhere if you are a mua anyway I Am quite happy using the wand and cleaning it!

I am a Clinique Consultant in Canada, and I have to say that I was doubtful when I first reviewed this product. I was like, " Okay...why am I going to use TWO mascara's on my eyes when I need only one."

BUT what I have found is amazing is that I market this a lot to my more mature clientele who have sparse/short lashes, who have trouble dealing with a bigger wand applicator, for top AND bottom lashes. So I am very happy that Clinique has come up with this product.

i dont think it is necessary to buy a this mascara, you can buy disposable small brushes and use the current mascara you have.

Maybelline has made Lash Discovery for a while .. the brush is a bit longer .. but I think it's a better deal than the Clinique bottom lash mascara.

I got it about a week ago and I must say, it is spectacular! No one had ever come up with this idea! I love that I don't smudge my mascara while applying it on the lower lash line. My lashes are defined and long. Soooo worth the $10. The brush is tiny and cute. A must have!

Yeah! I am so glad you got and like the bottom lash mascara. I got it after see pixiwoo use it and love it because applying lower mascara has always been a real pain. Also use on my upper lashes and pull them to the side.

Love your reviews I honestly just take my regular mascara wand and some tiny scissors and cut away the bristles I don't need and just leave the very tip on the wand essentially forming my own shape. then I wash the brush and pop it back into the tube.

Wayne, I liked the brush but I thought the formula was too wet for me personally; I found it a bit messy when I used it. I'm going to take your mascara brush tip and just keep the applicator when this product runs out. Hopefully I'll be able to use it in one of my other mascara formulas.

You said it's not a must for those with long lower lashes, but I actually find it to be just as essential! My bottom lashes are so long it's difficult to get mascara on them without getting in all over my skin as well when I'm applying with larger mascara wands. This tiny brush allows me to apply the mascara without looking like a racoon afterwards.

actually, I think mascara should always come in small bottles, because it is supposed to last only for 3 months... it starts to dry out in that amount of time...

and no matter how much I wear every day, there's always sooo much left in the bottle. it's a waste of product and money...

@njb1017 You could snip a regular wand to that size, however, you run the risk of injury because the end will most likely be sharp and not tapered at the end like most mascara wands. :-D I believe they do make disposable wands in that size now though.

i liked this video. but I just have to say, I myself have fairly long, prominent bottom lashes. Regular sized mascaras did the job, but it put on too much product because of the large brush size. I bought this the other day and it gave me much more control over product distribution. I prefer the mascara to be heavy at the base of the lashes, and lighter on the outside, and this did the job! but good review anyway :)

I think every lash was covered. You do not get alot of product as you said, but I might try using a regular mascara with this brush when the tube runs out and see how that works. actually, i have long dark bottom lashes....but i love this because it's so easy to really get the look i want without putting too much or ...you know what i'm saying. i can get a fully neat defined nice bottom lash look going with this. i was totally skeptical, too. but i actually like it and hope a lot of the drugstores will come out with their own version. i'm sure whomever came up with the idea at clinique is getting a huge massive bonus. it was sold out 3 times when i went to go get it.

I got this myself last week. Can't say I have poor lower lashes. Right the opposite, they are long and there's a lot of them. Some could say that I'm lucky. No. Applying mascara to that kind of lashes is a nightmare! They just look horrendous! Last week I went to Clinique counter and asked them to try it on me. I was blown away! I love it. My lashes look perfect with this thing on.

The bottom lash mascara doesn't seem to be introduced at al here in Scandinavia. I asked about it at the Clinique counter in the high end deparmentstore in Stockholm and the sales assistants there hadn't even heard about it. They even looked in their spring product cataloge but didn't find the product in there. A shame I think, both that we want get it and that they hadn't even heard about it. /Annika

Wayne, i'd like to add something: this mascara can also be great for the UPPER lashes!!(i know you already think so too). My mom has really short eye-lashes and this mascara does miracles on them, just because it's so small that it can reach every little lash from the root and really enhance it! And without creating any mess at all! So GREAT for people with small or few lashes in general! ;)

i have this and i have quite long lower lashes and i loved the wand but i thought the formula is so wet that it made a mess on my face, i had to get rid of so much product of the brush before using it, maybe it is coz i have long lashes though, the wand is great though! i love ur reviews by the way you are always so honest and wise about things and really use common sense about things like ingredients and value that i wouldn't normally even think of but should. a million thumbs up!

The size of the wand on this mascara also makes it great for the tiny inner corner top lashes.

In my opinion, it is definitely not worth the $28 plus postage I paid for it from Clinique in Australia.

The Falsies Mascara seems to give me the same effect on my lower lashline. The curved wand really helps you from getting mascara on your skin and the formula seems to add a lot of volume (but not necessarily a lot of 'dramatic length like the Maybelline Colossal Mascara).
