Filmed summer 1985- locations in Silver Spring, Rockville, Baltimore, Bethesda, Annapolis, Takoma Park, Wheaton, MD and Washington DC. John had makeup on in all shots. That's Beat Brother Pete shaking his head at his no go Audi.
Every Friday Weasel on WHFS would play a set of songs including 'Fight for Your Right to Party', and some others---including this one. Yeah, brings back some nice memories. Thanks!
Well... I'm a Goddard and I REALLY hope that we are NOT related!!! ...or 'Thank God' we made it to California and I wasn't raised where you were!! That was so f*$*$*$*$*$ stupid...
John Harbison is looking a little more youthful than I remembered him in 1983. Harbison Bond and Goddard did a couple of reunion shows in 84 or 85. Is it possible this music video was shot before 83? I used to see John Harbison and sometimes the Dirtball Band at the Grog and Nickys in 83 and 84 then him and Jack Bond were performing in Tenlytown in 84-85 with a couple of appearances from (Steve?) Goddard.
@DPJTRON Hi! One way to date this is that it DJ Bob is not in the Bethesda HFS studio which was sold in early '83. We filmed Bob in the studio in Annapolis and Einstein bought that in late '83. Plus, my 1983 Audi is in this and I bought it in '83 but only kept it for a year so this was probably filmed in the summer of '84 if I had to guess.
Thinks for the info,,,,explains the 45's for sale in 84 or 85 in Tenleytown. Someone's gotta keep the facts straight. And you did. I also remember that Jack Bond lefy DC soon afterwards for Nashville and came back to DC a year or two later.
