Good God! last I've ever played this game was when we moved into our current house, which is aprox. 11 years back!

Oh, I used to be very scared of this game because I used to think Wang is actually a giant mutated Elephant head with his staff as a trunk! And when he defeats you, you turn into a pink Crossaint or a Cresent! xD

Then I realized he had a stick and began playing normally, the last level I reached was Lang I think...or I did manage to defeat Wu / Mu.

I am shocked at how different this game is compared to the arcade. The NES was capable of something much closer than this. It looks like C64 quality.

The arcade version is THE best fighting game ever made. All others are pretty lame and futile attempts at re-creating a masterpiece.

I agree. The original was far superior. I think I put in 500 dollars worth of quarters to it at our local bowling alley. I think it's on XBOX Live now with new graphics and sound.

Yeah, it's easy to get going for a long time in this and Urban Champion when you get into a groove.

In retrospect, crouching kicks would have been good against Lang. I haven't played in quite some time so I forgot how swift she could be.

Repeating face kick is a solid technique though if you stun the enemy mid attack you can continually take damage as you jump. lol...

Great game and nice video, warts'n'all :) Showed a few key things

1) Wall bounce technique for adjusting kick arc

2) Standing punch tech for getting foes as they run past

3) Jump kick "stun cycle"!! (finishes Chen and Lang). Killer app!!!

Chen is the main threat usually in early loops, but as the enemies get faster and more tacticful, Lang may be more dangerous than Chen in later loops.

When I played YAK pretty often on my 31-in-1 cart, I could go 60-70 rounds :)
