  • @netnaimo i restarted my computer and my monitor wasn't working, i have 2 ports for my vga cable and the bottom one is my graphics card, i took the vga cable out of the bottom one and into to the top one and it works but i cant play games because its not connected to my graphics card

    help?

  • @Badassbroadcasts Try going to the website of your video card manufacturer and download the latest drivers.

  • @Badassbroadcasts aw man ur screewed

  • From what I know if you're power suply is compatible and the slot on your motherboard is compatible you should be fine. You can always check on the hp site or the video card manufacture site for more info. Make sure to download all the latest drivers. I had issues with my PowerDirector crashing and when I downloaded all the most recent drivers I had no issues with crashing the program. I hope this helps....

    Anyone else have advice?

  • @christianAFA my best guess is that you need a a 300wat power supply. Might need it for the fan to kick in. Check with the manufacturer to see what video cards can be added to your motherboard first before buying... anyone else have advice?

  • @christianAFA Well, get a better powersupply.. because almost no graphics card will work with a 220W power supply

  • @basbas63 is it possible if i just get a regural size power supply and just let it hang out is that possible if i could do that?

  • @christianAFA it is possible.. but not something very good to do.. maybe there are solutions for powersupply's you need

  • I've got the same comp. How did you get your graphics card to work with the integrated video card? for some reason my new videocard will not play SWTOR or League of Legends.

  • @rjet Disable the onboard video, and install the drivers for the new card. Hopefully this helps. Good luck, mate.

  • Where u buy that card ? What type did you buy? This upgrade would it help with laggy game play ?

  • @ppspsd the card is a ATI Radeon HD 5570 with 1GB Memory on board. I bought the computer at costco and thanks to their consierge service... I called them and they shipped me a new one out, got it in three days. try your local staples, office depot on ebay.

do you know any good graphics card the equivalent of the 560 TI which is compatible? Please Respond

  • @jackdabomb100 This is just a guess,But I think for something like a 560 TI,you would probably need to get a new motherboard,I have the same computer aswell,And I just bought a low end graphics card,But I dont know if it will be compatible either.

  • Damn... no coffee

  • @MegaPuffster your gonna fail then ;)

  • Oh snap! Look! its my computer!

  • I have the same exact HP Pavilon as you. When I opened it up it did not even have a video card in it? :/

    wtf right?

  • @mhendersonn same with my old one, looks the same i think that ours are older models

  • Comment removed

  • @mhendersonn yours is probably built in he was upgrading his :) i have the same comp and my graphics card is built in and called intel hd or something :)

  • @mhendersonn hp has intergrated cards so u cant see them ver yweel

  • @mhendersonn not every hp

  • @mhendersonn you have a intergraded video car no worries same installation applies

  • @mhendersonn You have an integrated chip

  • @mhendersonn they have a lot of variations of computers that use that same case, my computer came in that case and then i put it in a cooler master elite 310 with a windows and put in a video card and a new psu as well as some 120mm fans

  • @mhendersonn

no, not wtf. Thats probably because it uses an integrated graphics card.

  • @MrFuzziiWuzzii Yeah I got it situated about 4 weeks ago.....i know this now..

  • @mhendersonn

I noticed that after I replied haha. Sorry. What card did you get?

  • Comment removed

  • @mhendersonn maybe because it has onboard video duh >.< you probably dont have the same one.

  • @Ptro001 Yeah already figured that out. maybe u should read the comments before posting....retard.

  • @mhendersonn Sorry... Jeeze, I just edited a mean post and then I read that? What a demon douche.

  • @mhendersonn Umm... That's what's called "onboard video". You'll have to get a dedicated card. And upgrade the PSU (Power Supply Unit) when you do. The ATI Radeon HD 6000 series is a good graphics line to consider. And I'd recommend getting a 500W PSU, but make sure it has all the connections that you need. Hopefully this helped.

  • @mhendersonn its called integrated graphics

  • @mhendersonn When you buy a computer from hp or w/e, There is an integrated graphics chipset.

Once you put a new gfx card in the motherboard immediatley changes to the new graphics card.

  • @mhendersonn Thats because it's integrated. You will want to buy a video card so you can install is on your computer.

  • @mhendersonn you probably have a on board Video card. You can buy a new one and put it into the PCIe slot.

  • I've done the same thing and my PC makes a beeping noise for some reason. What's happening? :S

  • it should... but always check the manual to make sure.

  • I'm trying to add nvidia gtx 550 ti and I have almost the same computer. Will it run on my 300 watt psu

  • @firekingster NO that card will fry your computer.

  • @biogamer100 Ok ill just have to buy a new psu. How about 460watts?

  • @firekingster I'd say go for 500, and make sure you get a good company's psu. Read the reviews on them.

  • @firekingster no no no... you will break your shit. Get a 500 watt +

  • diggin' the mutton chops ;)

  • I got mine at Costco, love it works great.

  • is that a hp pavilion? Are they good?

  • lol thats the biggest coffie mug ive seen xD thx helped allot ;)!
