@suckmybass To modify the engine? A Z, with the right parts, can hold virtually any engine.. A lot of guys have been dropping ls1's into a Z.

This is Z's in general, but the 280z is the most reliable, considering thicker steel, and, generally, less rust. Join a z forum to learn more.

You would only have to change is the trans and shaft. People have been doing this for years swap out the that stock straight 6 for that chevy 350 or 355 small block

They call them Scarabs after the mod not hard to do might need an extra pair of hands now and then but the 280 is a easy car to start working on everything is right there out in the open, only down side is if it gets rust you have to get it fixed asap or she's done for very prone to body rot.

It has a serpentine belt driven super charger because he didn't have enough hood clearance for a normal super charger application. its ran similar to a turbo just belt driven. so before you go calling some one a dumb ass make sure your rite....

Turbine's are ass monkey engine's. There expensive as fuck unreliable and break down more than Brittney Spears. Parts are hard to find need constant tune ups and they are the MOST recalled engines in automotive history.

uhhh turbo motors like the one you have in your civic yes are unreliable cus the ricers that build them use bolt on parts and 8 times out of 10 do do any internals. but the 3sgte and the 2JZ-GTE do produce reliable power, yes they do need more care then a NA motor but they have different internal then the NA versions. the ricers that buy a tuned motor then beat the piss out of it by turning the boost x2 what it should be yes do blow the engines. but responsible tuning can yeild great power
