Thanks for comment bro. Your comment really pleases me because it comes from hands of experience that know the efforts and pain involved. Your vids and playing are great and revealed to me a lot of valuable stuff and hints. Waiting impatiently for new ones. My guitar is a 1983 Irater Stagecaster slightly modified, refretted and sculloped by me around 1996. Now it cries for service because frets have flattened like razors making every slide try peeling off finger skin. Keep up the good work.
I tried a Yngwie strat the sound of the guitar and the feeling of the neck was very good but the only thing who scares me is the bridge. You know the old vintage bridge by Fender. I had a strat with that kind of bridge before and It was just crap. Do you if the bridge is good on these Yngwie strat or It's cheap?
I,ve heard that fender improved the quality of their bridges and their manufacturing characteristics compared to the vintage bridges built during 90s. They have better anti-corrosion protection and overall feel. Anyway if you feel that the standard is kind of crap you can always consult a luthier or a guitar specialist for a good after market bridge such as wilkinson's. I've also noticed the problem to my bridge since my hands are sweaty. It corrodes like hell especially the string height screws
It is really a very good guitar and it worths every penny. Try one as soon as possible. It might seem difficult at the beginning but it will pay off later.
I havn't had time to really try out a scalloped fretboard. I tried one when I didn't know much about guitars at first. Wana try out the Yngwie Malmsteen Strat.
Can you tab out the lick that starts at :32?
