Very enjoyable video; I was only in Reno once back in October 1988 as I somehow made repeat visits to Las Vegas instead. I remember being wowed that we were traveling on I-80; I excalmied to the cab driver that I lived only five blocks from the Eastern beginning of that highway near the GWB in NY/NJ.
I once had a great night here back in 97. It must have been great because the security guard slung me out after drinking all the free beer at the bar.

if you do not want the hustle and bustle of a big city then reno is the place for you. it has most of the ammenities of a big city but still retains the feeling of living in a community. and do not forget the casinos. nice place to raise kids too.

Well, the video wouldn't be entirely about Reno if he went to the capitol in Carson City. Those are some good ideas, though. The video should have consisted of a lot more than just the block by the Citifare station.
You guys are wondering where everyone is..."the strip" is closed to vehicles at a certain time of night. And this is only a small part of Reno, not where alot of the action is.
this is the Virginia St., sort of main road, that runs through downtown. some of the major hotels/casinos are along this road. this road is only closed during special activities wherein it is used as the place for staging the events. other than that, its open all year round. come on then and enjoy our city.
I, too, live in Reno, and you are by the Citifare station which is pretty much the tiniest part of Reno. You should have gone around showing more things like the GSR (Hilton), the park downtown, communities, etc. This video was quite bland imho.
It was way better in 1998....all the casinos all bright with no shitty condos taking them over

The Circus Circus is the creepiest place in Reno.
