hmm the magazine could be similar to a revolver.pull the thing half way out, load the cartidges.every time u shoot it goes up-up-up-up. then a little switch that drops it down so you can unload the shells

I used to do those kind of loads to my Daisy 747 when we were about 10-12 years old. I used lead shots from 12 gauge skeet ammunition. Waddin was tissue paper and the penetration was lot better then yours.

Hello NWest82. I have no intention of shooting a .50cal pellet through a 22XX platform. But that would be cool...Altough I would have to use a compressor hahaha

600 to 700 FPS is average on the 22XXX, but you would be surprised of how much power you can get with compressed air!!

thats neat. I have a 2240 and I also thought of putting a few 12 gram co2 cartrages under the tube like a magazine. I wish somwone would make those mags for it.

You guys he means make a .177 air rifle look like a .50 cal. He doesn't want to actually make a .50 cal that looks like that. But the silencer would look cool on a .177, I have one on my .22 air rifle and they're sweet.

yup and if your a sniper you generally tend to have a spotter which i guess helps them out if they can speak to you about your next target

that's really something, but before they change it to a sniper look, (the 3 CO2 powerlets would improve power LOTS!) i'd NEED them to replace that horrible plastic trigger! crosman's doing it on their Benjamin Marauders, now they need to do it on the 2260 rifles. i'd love to see what Crosman would do to this idea :p

Scorpac: This is not a .50 cal, This was a 3D prototype to modify a Crossman 2260 airgun, into something that resembles a .50 cal.

Nope its .50 that means .50 of an inch in diameter or half an inch. .22 means 22 hundredths of an inch .17 17 hundredths and so on.

whoa its not THAT stupid, i know what you mean by saying it is, theres not really a point to "silence" a 50 cal cause its not possible with such a small compact suppressor, but by putting a silencer on a 50 cal rifle, there is a difference between one that was fired without one and one with one. its easy on the ears

how is it stupid? The silencer would reduce recoil, muzzle blast, muzzle flash, and increase accuracy by diverting gases away from the bullet as it exits the muzzle. It would also decrease the sound and increase velicity by an average of 10-50 fps. Know your facts before you say something is stupid.
