just because it has the same name doesnt mean they ripped it off. look at all the songs called addicted. there is one by saving abel, simple plan, kelly clarkson, and few others and they sound nothing alike. and this song sounds nothing like the beatles song.

The name doesn't enter it. The rhythm signature and the hook line is exactly the same as the lame Beatles original. Think what you want. The hook is identical. I've heard it said many times from radio DJ's,(also check the some of the comments by industry experts May issue of Cashbox magazine) that it's a blatant rip.

We understand what you're saying, 69chevy68, not all new bands are going to sound like Led Zep or Floyd. But these guys are 'paving their own path'so to speak; they're doing it there own way and I personally think they're bringing Back older rock, educating the younger generation that have never heard the legends such as the bands you mention. I think they are talented musicians and it's refreshing for me.
