  • For the Empire!! May it last a thousand years and bring peace and order to the galaxy! May the enemies of imperial civilization crumble before our might!

Heil Palpatine! Heil the Empire! SEIG HEIL! SEIG HEIL!!

  • I love this. Very Naziesque.

  • Hahaha this is how Lego Star Wars III should end! Kind of.

  • This will seriously never get old, its still epic and still one of the best brickfilms ever made 4 years later.

  • bahhahaha this was so badass

  • for me, the music made this. any other choice would have made the entire video fall flat.

  • "Mars Bringer of War" was perfect for this. I think I've commented at three different times now on this same video. It's just sheer brilliance, not in Animation, but in terms of Star Wars lore. Quite accurate for New Order propaganda.

I could definitely see COMPNOR running stuff like this on Imperialized HNE. Just not with plastic blocks, maybe...

  • wow great job

  • Those of you who think the Dark Side is more powerful than the Light Side, ask yourselves this: Is Satan more powerful than Jesus or God. Answer: No. Darkness will never be as powerful as the light. Easier, Quicker, the dark is, yes, but it also blinds its users to pride and arrogance. That's how you darksiders usally fall.

  • @Armyof1993 You sir are blind.

The 'Dark side' is just the other side of nature it is not necessarily quicker either...The true cost of devotion to darkness is to learn to control it. It seems faster...It isn't it is much harder to master and control ones self and ones feelings yet to still have them rather then shut them out.

The Jedi and even those in real life that try to follow a 'light' path are inhuman and follow a path of little more then self control and shutting out human emotion.

  • @DRSethFCM There are other ways to get what one wants other than mass murder and the oppression of the people. The thing is that we think that the dark is malleable, that WE control the Force, when in reality, the Force is the one controlling us.

  • Ummm, this is utterly fantastic. Well done!

  • what track is this?

  • WE ARE THE GALICTIC EMPIRE AND WE WELL NEVER EVER FALL BUT RISE UP TO A INTER GALITIC EMPIRE!!!

  • I never get tired of this one :)

  • Pathetic empire and their politicians. Time to get some against them son of a b#%&hes. Rebel Alliance/ New Republic Marines and Mandalorians coming your way! For the Alliance/Republic!

  • That was great! No one can oppose the Galactic Empire!

  • at the beggining who is the guy with the red lightsaber

  • excellent job, you have great talent, the CGI is amazing in this, its a pity you havnt created any brickfilms for 2 years, and i cant seem to find the ones from your demo reels... Oh well, this is the 3rd best brickfilm ive ever seen...

  • @fireguy789 but Eric this was Shattered Stars? lol

  • This was awesome! Nice use of "Mars" from Holst's "The Planets" in there as well!

  • Triumph of Fascism!

  • Pure art! excelent! 5* and fav.

  • has anybody ever heard any of Hitler's speeches in English before? This sounds scarily like one.... :S

  • BRAVO MAESTRO!!! absolutely superb!!

I gave you 5/5 stars and stand up from my chair auplauding for your movie.

One of the most creative i've seen.

The Voice of Tarkin was fenomenal done! Love that voice and how he speaks even with such pride and very auristocratic LOVE IT!

Further more : Long live the Emperor!

Hail the Empire and support the troops!

  • ^This man speaks the truth. BRAVO!

My imaginary, evil non-Force sensitive self applauds your work, ladonite! 5/5 stars!

  • ya kinda like Nazi propoganda, Its great too

  • awsome

  • I saw this film a few years ago, it still blows me away every time I see it.

  • Comment removed

  • Hm... would you be willing to share what program you used for the space scenes? Let alone just the scenes with flying starfighters.

  • Amazing. The effects work in this is superb, and the idea is actually quite funny. I got a chill when I saw Palps giving that speech!

  • Hail to the Empire!

  • DEATH TO REBELS!

  • All Hail the Empire!

  • nooooo!!!!!!

  • lol

  • dude this is great

did u base this off triumph of the will cause it seems really similar...

    anyway 5/5!

  • For legos, this is actually pretty sweet.

  • that was sweet. Amazing effects!

  • Okay.

  • Duty now, for the future!

  • Cool ship animation!

  • nice poking fun at propaganda

was the title a reference to triumph of the will? the inspiration for the throne room scene?

  • putin alens and sub races in their place as humanaitys slaves! the empire!

  • how can you afford all this

  • Adding The Song Mars was explosive! i like the part with the arc-170s doing the WWII bomber fly by pose

  • nice vid i dont know why ppl say the empire are like nazis 1.there tasked with pretecting the people of the galaxy and there keepers of the peace 2.they have a good goverment

  • You really think so? The Republic disabled all slavery. The Empire brought it back. They discriminate all anti-humans and think of other races good only for serving and slavery. The Empire' s citizens can' t even choose their leaders. They put high taxes, going mainly on luxury curorts for Imperial command.

  • Not true. There were species favored by the Empire and taxes were never even mentioned! Ever! And anything bad sprouted from the Emporer, he was a tyrant. The Empire it's-self is Powerful and Just.

  • Hmm, Penguin7333, I think You are wrong.

Who begun civil war after Empire's birth? Who begun "fight for peace" and fought all these years, DESTROYING the peace?

  • Impressive, Most Impressive

  • If the Empire weren't so human supremecist I would join it if I could. palpatine's got the right ideas about government

  • Just remember, aliens must be subjugated in real life. Sure in Star Wars they think and act like humans, but in real life they evolved on entirely different worlds and their thought processes are entirely different from us. Therefore they must be subjugated to ensure humanity's survival. Damn right I'm a human supremacist.

  • Dude who thumbed up my "Palaptine's got the right ideas about government" ???

I was kidding, you autocratic wacko.

  • Palpatine is the best leader. Democracy sucks, dude. Fear is the best ruler. :)

  • EPIC

  • awesome video. what program do you use for this kind of animation

  • This is the best lego movie in the history of the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I havn't even finished watching it.

  • its like an old nazi propaganda movie except its changed to the galactic empires motif

  • Extremely professional effort!

  • what is det? The first Death star were construct in the Maw! Not near Coruscant! -.-

  • I don't see Coruscant anywhere in that shot...

  • I see a planet in that scene. Not Coruscant though.

Anyhow, excellent film! So good propaganda I will join the Empire just because I saw this!

  • @sovi91 You are wrong, the first Death Star were construct in Despayre.

  • hope the galactic empire come to end the war on our little earth

  • lawl mars

  • Best Join the Empire vid I've ever seen. And Lego that just makes it all that much more better. It's propaganda from a galaxy far far away.

  • join the empire! rule the galaxy!

  • this wuz probably said right after the end of episode 3

  • That was awesome, what programs did you use to do the editing and special effects?

  • expensive stuff ;)

  • Where is the recruiting station? lol

  • An Interesting Combination Of Animation.

  • after effects. and the version, i dont know.

  • Join to the cause...

  • Totally awesome! I would so join!

  • wow how much of this was actually lego though?

  • All of the figs were real, but the larger ships were not. Too much money for just a couple of shots!

  • That was worth it! =) The video is cool. I never thought of joining the Empire in any SW games, but this vid makes me feel like correcting that mistake =)

  • Hey, I was wondering which music you used in the beginning of this video with the turning disc, because it would fit perfect with my school project video.

  • Super !!

  • hey you know after you see the droids what is that arc shaped thing floating in space?

  • That's a Trade Federation station thing, they were in eps 1 and 2.

  • @ladonite also in ep.3 space battle over corascant

  • @ladonite trade federation droid control ship class 2

  • wow 10/10

  • OMG Freaking great!!!!!!!! ::thumbs up::!!!!!!

  • omfg that is amazing 5+ stars!!!!

  • 5 Stars, could you please give some advice to a person whi is interested.

  • for the empire

  • long live the empire

  • Best Video Ever!!! The propaganda of the Empire is perfect; I loved the sinister-looking Tarkin legoman at the end.

  • Nice... But a little too much CGI from my standpoint. This is terrific, you have great cgi skills, but not enough brick. i'm a noob brickfilmer, and I've got a few videos, suckly compared to this, but Not enough brick for my taste.

  • If I had the bricks to do this, I would have done it all with brick... And the time. I had two weeks, and I only had a single ship and a single clone trooper :)

Most of my films use more bricks, I haven't really done much digital stuff since this one, and definitely none before it.

  • this is cool as hell!

  • I can't think of enough good things to say about this. This rocks.

  • You are my new god :) 5 stars

  • truly epic - an excellent mix of real lego, cg and compositing

  • I liked it, but the guy's voice was too slow.

  • OMG!! this is THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN ON YOUTUBE!!!

  • Nice, u should send that to lucas and lucas arts

  • wow!! howd u do that!?

  • Slowly.

  • lol

  • awsome ! :)

  • Dude, if "Return of the Jedi" was made today instead of twenty years ago, this would make an awesome trailer--but with real actors of course.

  • i think it was kinda cool howd you make it

  • that is very cool! 5 stars!

  • Nice, Mars-The Bringer of War. I guess its fitting that John Williams borrowed from Holst for the original star wars soundtrack.

  • Amazing.

  • was that like the words of hitler or something?

  • Nah, I wrote it myself.

  • Not bad at all... and even very good. :-)

  • this is awesome, but slightly similar to the original Starcraft Terran ending

  • I've never played Starcraft :)

  • you're missing out alot of good stuff

  • brilliant animation

    fantastic!

    thanks for making this!

  • You're more than welcome :)

  • nice work

  • cool

  • This is one of the best YouTube films I have seen in years!

  • That's because it wasn't made with YouTube in mind ;)

  • if you made this 5 stars straight away mate

  • I did, and thanks :D

  • Not a big stretch, considering parts of Star Wars were inspired by Triumph of the Wills...

  • No thanks or credit to the Blizzard Cinematics team? Yah know for the story and the direction (since most of your film was just Lego SW versions of their shots) the edit was even the same.

  • Blizzard Cinematics team? I honestly have no idea what you are referring to.

  • I haven't seen the Blizzard material the previous respondant describes, however given that this appears to be inspired by a piece of work over fifty years BB (before Blizzard) I'm not sure Blizzard really needs too much credit. (I presume I'm correct in this assumption - please tell me if I'm wrong).

It's a well put together piece of work, and no mistake.

  • You're correct

    and thanks :)

  • dude freaking awsome! how long did that take you make!

  • Three weeks straight. That's with minimal sleep, and 4 hours of break per week maximum.

  • FREAKING AWESOME!

  • excellent, excellent

  • Was u inspired by ending film of terren campaign in basic Starcraft game? Some shots are very similar.

  • Hmm, I doubt it. I've never played Starcraft :)

  • This is most definitely my favorite Brickfilm. Again, excellent job Ladon.

  • ur realy good at stopmotion! what software do u use?

  • I use Stopmotion pro for capture, Adobe After Effects for effects, and Final Cut Pro for editing.

  • its still funny how the venators still have the republic emblem on them

  • This was pretty awesome,

although I think it would have been alittle cooler if he was screaming instead of just talking,

still though, this was fucking badass!

  • Yes... Screaming would have been rather hardcore, but it might have been a bit too hardcore for a large audience. If it had just been for myself, there would have been some more intense yelling on his part.

  • This Kinda brought a tear in my eye XD The Empire owns! And seeing The ARC-170s, V-wings, and Venators still being in use until the Replaced. I liked this vid! Go Tarkin!

  • amazing

Did you have help constructing those sets? Also, where did you get the money for all for this, because I've noticed that a Lego Star Destroyer costs $200 each

  • he did this all in his computer.

  • I sure did! Thought I responded to this question already, sorry. Youtube must have messed up the comment.

All of the minifigs were stop motion, the clones were composited because I only had one. All of the ships were cgi except for one shot. Can you tell which one? I sure can, because it looks pretty bad!

  • what shot is it? what time?

  • F*CKING GREAT !!!

  • that is badass!

  • that was brilliant, excellent work.

  • i still like how you made it look like a old world war one or two film about a army. Love it! ;}

  • pretty cool, nice use of holsts planet suite :)

  • dude this is probably the best star wars video i have ever seen!!!!

  • the empire's awesome =)

    NICELY DONE! =D

  • Very impressive. I'm Imperial fan and it was really pleasant to watch. Thank you for making this.

  • You're welcome! I'm glad it's being appreciated :)

  • me to the imperial is so cool

  • It gets better every time I see it!

  • awesome...you should try doing something like that without using legos, it would be even better. And that's not meant to be an insult because you used legos, i gave a 5/5 :)

  • Truly amazing!

  • Truly awesome ! - Not just amazingly good stop motion but the editing was 1st rate as well.

  • Isnt that the background music from Sierra's Outpost I??

    Excellent video btw

  • He he he... You show great promise as an information minister in the EMPIRE... We look forward to your... development...

  • awesome

  • nice vid

  • it was just a joke. I would have used Holst, too.

  • Why is Holst playing in the background?

  • You realize it's already playing in the original Star Wars movies. John WIlliams just changed a note or two.

  • It's the closest you can get to the Star Wars march without actually being instantly recognizeable. Only a fraction of the people who recognize Star Wars instantly will do the same for Holst.

Also, like Gianlucapaul said, it's pretty much the same.

I went through my collection of marches early on in the project to see what would for best, and I ended up going with Holst pretty early on.

  • Absolutely incredible job. Very stylish, very atmospheric. Well done!

  • NICE!

  • where those real lego soldiers cause if they where that is a lot, can u tell me where u bought them like individully, if u did?

  • They were all real, but I only have one. Got it out of a set I bought from LegoLand

  • how were they all real if u only have one? nice video keep it up

  • He literally duplicated each one of them using a special/visual effects program called Adobe After Effects. He took footage of the one soldier in multiple positions and put all the footage together.

  • ohhhhhh ok i get it now lol, thanks

  • They were. You know that shot with Tarkin, and Vader, and Palpatine? He only had one trooper for that scene. Incredible, right?

  • Lego StarWars version of the 1935 Nazi propaganda film, "Triumph of the Will".

  • The Empire, WWII styerl

  • wow

  • Darth Vaders Cape... Too cool.

  • Awesome! Why did Tarkin keep pausing in the middle of what he was saying?

  • Well, it's the phrasing that was common in presidential speeches. Drawing out the speech to try and raise some patriotic emotions in the american public. I listened to a few, and then got my lead actor to imitate it.
