@WhatTheTech I don't disagree. These kids are just thinking that being a teenager means they'll be happy and having fun all the time. They don't get that growing older requires MORE responsibility AND maturity. A lot of their views are messed up, actually.

@galfulloflols this is very smart of you.i'm 20 and i look back and i'm very happy for not wearing make up until i was 15.i'm very happy i first wore heels when i was 18.just enjoy it,it only comes once.you will HAVE to shave your legs,and wear make up and heels and everything when you will be older..enjoy the freedom=)

i reaaaaally want to punch chloe in the face. like if i wanted to wear makeup to school when i was 9 years old, my mom would rage at me. i didn't care what people thought of me until the middle of my grade 7 year and i was 12 then (1st year in middle school) i'm almost 13 and i wear foundation, powder, blush, eye liner and mascara. i didn't start shaving my legs until i was 10! chloe is growing up WAAAAAAY to fast. ugh omg dumb lg. don't hate for my opinion please.

When i was 9 i didnt care about my looks, i just wanted to have fun :D , when your 9 you shouldnt care about having boyfriends or caring what everyone thinks of you. Im now 12 and ill admit i wear a bit of mascara and eyeliner when i go out, but not when im in school or at home? i hate how kids are growing up too fast.

I am 23 and I rarely shave my legs. Just my underarms. I am African American so the hairs on my legs are black so you really can't see the hair anyways. It's pretty pointless to shave lol.

I think tht mother just might be rushing it. She seems like she wants to be a good mom, but she's just cluless to the time table. I enjoy moments like the salon nd mall nd perfume as showed with my mom but im 19, a young woman and i didnt start tht friendship sort of thing until my late teens. Because my mom knew how important it was for me to enjoy each stage of my life and not to rush me or hold me in a spot she wanted me to be.

You now...I wanted to shave my legs at nine. I asked my mom and she said no and that I have no business doing it. I asked for make up at nine and she said no. I asked for heels and she laughed at me then said no. When I finally asked her why she kept telling me no she told me that "I'm a kid, and I should look like a kid. When you grow up too fast you'll regret not having your childhood"
