  • Ok people since you all hate cops so much, how bout we get rid of every type of law enforcement for say a month or so. Then when some thug steals all your stuff, rapes your wife, daughter, or etc, and there's no one to call you'll realize that you do need them. You'll hate them till you need them. Don't hate Leos for what they do it's their job they have families to support. At least they actually work.

  • @warrenwilbertblack

What we don't like are the pigs who are incompetent, ignorant, and those who willingly violate rights. Included in that list are cops who cover up or back up their pig brothers who have broken the law.

  • @toptruckracer would you back up your brother?? i would

  • @THEPOLICEAREONE

Cops are not my brothers. Show me the law where cops are granted immunity because they lie or otherwise break the law covering up for their brother.

  • You did a great job, my brother. Incredible arrogance from the cop. I wonder if he had to answer for his incompetence, or, like any government bureaucrat, is never responsible nor held accountable.

  • @WalkerWPrice

Neither the cop that stopper or his segeant were held accountable.

  • The cop WAS wrong! Totally wrong.

  • I live in Gallatin TN. And I'm thankful the cops are so persistent. I agree with you the cop was in the wrong here. But Gallatin used to be a shit hole of poverty and ethnic trash. And due to the diligence of the local PD it is fast becoming a decent place to live.

  • The side of the road is NOT the place to argue the law. The was plastic over the light, but it has fallen off

  • Tennessee Law requires you to show your insurance I.D. card to any police officer who stops you for a traffic violation or safety check. You should also take your card to court if you’re cited for a traffic ticket or have been in an accident.

Why would you say him giving you a ticket for not providing it is illegal? Look like you screwed yourself with attitude.

  • I've had one too many altercations with the law. Last guy that tried to write me a bogus ticket, I jumped out my truck and told him to his face that he had to do whateva he had to do. Warning me that I don't want to spend the night in jail, I told him I did that for 2 years already. What the fuck one night gonna do? Anyways, after another 30 mins later, me and the officer was leaning on my truck laughing and shaking hands. I got into my truck and drove home. No ticket.

  • Cops are lying pieces of garbage that do whatever they have to do to collect revenue and meet their quotas. They don't serve the public. They are predatory thugs.

  • Gallatin PD sucks. Period. I have to drive through 2 different jurisdictions prior to Gallatin on a daily basis and have been pulled over 4 different times all in Gallatin without receiving any tickets. I haven't been pulled over not once in the other two districts since driving daily to Gallatin. All 4 times the cops have been rude to say the least. Once 2 cops were pulled over blocking one of the lanes on a 5 lane road (which left 1 lane of traffic)... Third shift cops are especially jerks.

  • @Fearnsj

Sumner County is the armpit of the area. They pull over people on a regular basis to perform pretextual stops. Some of those are where the cop has no probable cause or reasonable suspicion, making them illegal.

  • I guess that'll teach you to be careful at an intersection where the stop light is not functioning. don't argue on the side of the road. that wastes time that they could spend writing more tickets.

  • IF you DOOOONT stop, YOU BROKE THE LAW...if you KILL someone, ITS VEHICULAR HOMICIDE!!!

  • @robinhoodtn1 WATCHED IT....didnt look like he had his hands in his pockets, but ive had them try that on me too.....stupid cunts....his yard....his pockets...it was cold.....fucking PIGS!!!

  • OK, so the guy was wrong. It happens occasionally, even despite training. Still doesn't mean you should argue with him on the side of the road. There's a system for arguing your case, and it's called court. Also, if you calmly explained your understanding of the law after he was done speaking, I bet you would have gotten off with a warning, or depending on the cop, he might have agreed with you and you wouldn't have even got that.

  • @jediphobic

In your opinion I have to take the illegal detention without saying a word...that won't happen anytime soon.

  • @toptruckracer Actually, it's better for you not to say a word. Anything you say can only be used to provide the officer with probable cause for a search or to incriminate you. The best course when the officer asks his first question is to say, "I invkoke my right to remain silent." And shut up. But, I don't think you acted rude at all. It was the officer who immediately asked you to explain why you stopped, and you calmly did. As I said, I think that was a mistake. The officer was rude though.

  • @greggh

I would agree where the criminal act is severe and there is a chance that one may not know the law. I did know the law in this instance, but did not know where it was codified. There was absolutely no doubt that the cop was wrong and his words show this.

  • @toptruckracer It's always your choice whether to talk to police. I always choose not to. They do thier part in trying to train the public that we don't have a Bill of Rights. And I like to do my part in training police that we do have a Bill of Rights by always asserting them. Good luck in pursuing you complaints.

  • @toptruckracer you did what u should have done; with the exception of arguing it was 'the same' as a 4way. I do hope you fought this. The initial stop was unlawful, therefore anything beyond that would be inadmissible. We need more ppl standing up for their rights--not being obnoxious--but simply standing up against unlawful acts. Congrats for respectfully questioning what ultimately was an unlawful act on his part.

  • @MajorRick12345

I didn't have to fight it. The City Attorney dismissed the charges before court and after the newspaper and television stations ran the story.

  • @toptruckracer great... I just listened to the incompetent SGT that tried to make every excuse in the book instead of handing you an official complaint form. Couldn't believe some of his statements. 'as far as I know, that light ain't ever worked.' How is that relevant to an officer detaining you "BECAUSE YOU KNEW THE LAW AND DID AS IT REQUIRED." It is sometimes hard to hold it in. Pls don't just let this go. Don't b rude, but at least make a record of it. good luck

  • @jediphobic "There's a system for arguing your case, and it's called court. " When you win in court and you are reimbursed for lost wages because you had to spend several days of your time in said system for arguing your case then i would say you have a valid point but most people just pay the ticket simply because its cheaper then losing a days pay ... The "System" knows this and it's just a money making scam ...

  • @MrTonvis I had have stopped by cops that was stupid and lied. How can I win in court? They take their side. Let me know, how to get reimbursed. Thanks.

  • @jediphobic seriously? there was no probable cause.1st the officer should know the laws he's enforcing. that's like a surgeon not knowing anatomy. "i'm explaining the law to you," and i quote, around 7m 45s. again seriously? he even tried to cover up his ego by trying to be "kind" and give him a warning, then gets defensive and sites him.how unprofessional. for the 7 min stop the officer blocked the right lane of traffic. that's 3,800% more wrong than the 11s the driver stopped. :)

  • @jediphobic So we have to forgive the officer's ignorance of the law, even though we aren't given the same "courtesy"? That doesn't make any sense. It also appears that the officer was preying on that intersection waiting for someone to do just what this driver did - instead of resolving the safety hazard, he was preying on it.

  • @usagora A person in a position of power that abuses it deserves a bullet. So go blow a pig, you cop groupie pusshole.

  • SEEMS to ME that parking your cop car halfway blocking the lane is not only obstructing traffic but also creating a dangerous situation ( reckless Endangerment ? ) AND HE JUST LOOKS LIKE A DICK HEAD

  • SEEMS to ME that parking your cop car halfway blocking the lane is not only obstructing traffic but also creating a dangerous situation ( reckless Endangerment ? )

  • Shouldn't argue with a cop while he's deciding whether to write you.

That said, Yes he was wrong. he should not have even stopped you - therefore he had no right to write you a ticket.

However, depending on the Judge, you may need a attorney to prove that and win.

  • Yes cops are assholes some times but you have to be a bigger asshole to argue with one and think it will help your cause then post it on you tube and cry about it. Yes cops can be assholes but you sir are a bigger one with much less intelligence. Hope you had a good time spending 1/2 your day as well as pay in court just to explain that to them. Like they could give a fuck. Ha you could have smiled and said thank you for the warning and drove off. But it is the cop that is the asshole. you funny

  • look its simple..... if a cop likes you ...or your a menber of the police force a judge politian or even a freind......you will not get a ticket.....

  • You see the cop put his hand on the back of the car...so if the person's in the car shoot and or kill the cop other pigs can look and find his finger prints and know that is the right car...HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa

  • Stupid ass cop knows he's wrong. Their is nothing covering the lights, the light's are not working, and there is traffic from the cross road visible in this video.

  • pure definition of pig. shouldn't be employed. police referendum is need.

  • My wife just got pulled over by a motorcycle cop in the dark who said her front tire looked bald!(BULLSHIT) He checked the paperwork, measured the tire and gave her a warning, and slipped a seat belt ticket in on her! She was wearing it, and it was never mentioned until I saw it five minutes ago. How long are we going to put up with these lying bastards, people? That cops life is not worth the price of her ticket, first one ever, btw. I hope he got hit and died on his way home! COME ON KARMA!

  • it was a 2 lane hwy...were both lights out? The left and right side were both out?

  • (c) The driver of any vehicle approaching an intersection that is controlled by a traffic-control signal that is inoperative because of mechanical failure or accident shall come to a full and complete stop at the intersection, and may proceed with due caution when it is safe to do so; provided, that if two (2) or more vehicles enter such an intersection from different directions at approximately the same time, after having come to full and complete stops, the driver of the vehicle on the left

  • shall yield the right-of-way to the vehicle on the right. A traffic-control signal shall not be considered inoperative if the signal is operating in flashing mode. If a signal is operating in flashing mode, it shall require obedience by vehicular traffic pursuant to § 55-8-112.

  • Was there a wreck? Did some one get injured? What was the reason he got pulled over, because He didn't see the light operating at a intersection, he stopped because of other CROSSING traffic! You mean he was being safe, not knowing the lights were out.

What the C.O.P. was waiting for is a wreck! Lying bastard!

  • Best advice? Argue about the ticket in court, arguing with a cop about the ticket.........DUMB.

  • @1okware so yer saying a stupid cop has the right to waste your time in court when he doesnt even know the law? how bout 4 times a week, til you lose your job?

I HOPE YOU GET PULLED OVER EVERY DAY TIL YOU NEED DENTURES, ARSEHOYLO!!!

  • To me looks like a stop behind the truck but changed lanes and did not stop at the light just because you stopped behind the truck does not mean you do not have to stop at the light

  • Sometimes, when you play roadside lawyer, like citing a TCA code, people will actually look at it. Google TCA 55-8-110(c) and click the link.

The driver is talking out of his ass, and posts the documentation to prove it. It never ONCE mentions inoperable traffic lights, it refers to traffic lights with vehicle detection devices. Oh, and it applies only to motorcycles.

    Way to DESERVE a ticket.

  • @OneVoiceMore You didn't read the entire statute. If you'll scroll down, you'll clearly see that in SUBSECTION C, the driver in this video was absolutely behaving lawfully. The cop was wrong.

  • "Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the driver of a motorcycle approaching an intersection that is controlled by a traffic-control signal utilizing a vehicle detection device that is inoperative due to the size of the motorcycle shall come to a full and complete stop at the intersection and, after exercising due care as provided by law, may proceed with due caution when it is safe to do so. "

This is as close as the TCA cited gets to what the driver is claiming.

  • AFTER 20 YRS OF PUTTING UP WITH THIS KINDA CRAP. I REFUSE TO BE A COAST TO COAST TRUCKER ANY MORE.

  • I confused by your interpretation of TCA 55-8-110(c)....it says nothing about stopping at an inoperable traffic signal. That refers to left turns on red. Also, you were a huge dick.

  • @capsergeant88 (c) The driver of any vehicle approaching an intersection that is controlled by a traffic-control signal that is inoperative because of mechanical failure or accident shall come to a full and complete stop at the intersection, and may proceed with due caution when it is safe to do so; provided, that if two (2) or more vehicles enter such an intersection from different directions at approximately the same time, after having come to full and complete stops, the driver

  • its a law almost everywhere

  • The driver did the right thing but he should have arrested the cop for parking on the roadway (talk about impeding traffic) and derelict of duty (because he should have been stopping every car that didn't stop at the non working non covered light). This would be called a citizens arrest. Plus he should have charged the seargent with assualt! Sorry but if the cop can't do his job right maybe he should be flipping burgers.

  • It always amazes me just how fucking dumb cops are.

  • I was military police and I was never full of myself. I think this would have went differently if the driver citizen knew his rights. Firstly, he started mouthing off before the officer could even speak. This could have just been a verbal warning, but he talked himsoef into a ticket. The ticket does not mean anyone is wrong, right, or at fault. The ticket means the "charge" is for review or payment. Pay fine or go to court. The judge will review if he should stop or not. Cops dont know it all.

  • @KnowledgeShowLive

You're right cops don't know it all and they should not charge a driver if they do not know the law.

  • @toptruckracer Well the law in maryland is to stop, but you must also turn on 4 way flashers to alert the cars behind and proceed across when safe to do so. All turning vehicles would have to yield. He should have called it in to the supervisor on control unit and they would loook it up in 5 seconds and advise to issue the ticket or not. I was the best cop there was, but they are getting younger and more reckless and it is not safe.

  • @toptruckracer YOURE RIGHT!!! and if you had plowed through the intersection, and killed someone, you would have been charged with vehicular homicide!!! and YES you should post this, AND IT WAS AN ILLEGAL STOP!! you should SUE THE COP PERSONALLY AND THE CITY!!!

  • @KnowledgeShowLive you lost all credibility in the first sentence

  • @KnowledgeShowLive ....out of all the law books i have read,,,never once have i seen the don,t make a cop mad law............you either brake a law or not,,but thats where the problem is...they will make up a law if you make them mad

  • @KnowledgeShowLive your fucking wetarded.. the guy in the the car was 100% right and you fucking pigs stick together...

  • @KnowledgeShowLive I have no idea what video you watched. But the in the video posted here, the officer immediately asked him, "was there a reason why you stopped in the middle of the road back there?" He then calmly and matter-of-factly explained why. The driver gives him all the required documents without delay. The officer then says, "I'm just not understanding your attitude out here." It was the officer that was rude. Or do you think that we have to lick a cop's boots when pulled over.

  • Some are saying he talked himself into a ticket and this that and the next. I see it like this. If everyone was a stupid driver and approached a traffic light that was off and continued to drive through it like a stupid driver would, then there would be a whole lot more accidents. For this cop to even pull you over for being cautious and intelligent enough to stop at a inoperable traffic light goes to show that not all cops are the brightest.

  • @illbiskits From what I could see from the video...he stopped him because the vehicle behind him had to stop to avoid a collision...thereby impeding traffic

  • how did this end lol?

  • Comment removed

  • Is there a law that says you have to stop for an inoperable light?? Im just asking cause I thought they are suppose to install a temporary stop sign in the case that you would have to stop.

  • @sumofnone3

yes, the law in tennessee is tca 55-8-110(c)

  • @toptruckracer THE MOTORIST WAS ,IN THE RIGHT THEN"!! IT LOOKS LIKE THE COPS WANTED TO START A CONFRONTATION WITH THE MOTORIST.

  • some cops are so full of themselves.

  • @fendor18 no , most cops are! I was when I was !

  • Please do not talk to the officers. Talking on the side of the road will only hurt you. Talk to the JUDGE. Because you are arguing and may complain about this HE HAS TO give you a ticket to cover his butt.

Take the fifth, "I have no information for you officer." learn it, use it.

  • Congrats on talking yourself INTO a ticket !!!

  • Comment removed

  • I support cops but this guy was a jerk.

  • You're just another idiot that doesn't like getting tickets.

  • Comment removed

  • did u have to pay for the ticket? since the cop did not a valid reason to stop u in the first place

  • They are our servants and expect us to act submissive! Wish they would fire this jerk cop. He was looking for any reason to write a ticket after you questioned his reality.

  • That cop is seriously full of it.

  • This doesn't look all that bad. It's the conscious stupidity on the part of cops at the station later that reinforces public perceptions that cops are out of control.

  • What a dumbass cop, sure did make himself look like a fool. I mean the driver was just being careful since another car pulled up to the intersection. I probably would have done the exact same thing. Cops are becoming to power hungry, they think they can just do whatever they want. Stupid cop.
