This movie has always been a favorite of mine...a minor, unsung classic from the 80s. It is a timeless film. Honest and intimate examinations of hetero male friendships don't come much better. Superbly written, acted and directed. The film is more than worthy of a DVD release. I've almost worn out my VHS copied from HBO way back when.
For decades i have been trying to find out the song and artist that is played during the 3-some love scene. It's not Tangerine Dream and it has a woman singing. i still have that portion on Audio and nobody has been able to tell me who she is and the song title. Could you please capture just the ending rolling credits and post it? I would be truly grateful.
@MikeDG61 , OMG...........that's IT! Thank you ......SO MUCH, I have been searching since that movie came out for that title and artist. YOU ROCK thank you, Blessings, Peace!!
@johnbambammorgan My pleasure! I'm surprised there was never an official soundtrack released for this fine film. Tangerine Drean's score is awesome and the rest of the tunes sprinkled througout are tops as well.
@MikeDG61 , That is odd about no soundtrack. I did think Tangerine dream was the soundtrack just minus this song. Anyway i found the song and finally got to hear the whole thing for the first time, minus the sex noises. LOL I took a sound sample from the movie back in 1989 and passed to everybody i knew since then and nobody ever could help. But they all commented on the sex noises. lol Anyway Cheers!
This one is what the cinema is all about. Please see this film in its entirety. Bobby Roth has given us a valentine to male friendship and its complexities. Long live
Thanks for putting this up. I love this film. It's a shame the clip hasn't had more viewers - can you add more tags? E.g. Peter Coyote, Nick Mancuso, Carol Laure, Bobby Roth, Los Angeles, art, fetish?
great soundtrack but a crap synopsis of the movie

I loved this movie as a kid. Great closing scene and fantastic film score. It was a bomb of a film that found new life on HBO.

Yes, there was a soundtrack album with some of these tracks - Tangerine Dream - Heartbreakers. The CD is rare but the LP is still available!
