Had about 200 "friends" on facebook, about 3 weeks ago I went through it and removed everyone who wasn't a family member, a PROPER friend, or who I hadn't spoken to in over a year. I now have 61 "friends" that ARE actually friends. Its great, now I dont have a load of shite status' cluttering my news feed.

If I see that I have one less "friend," then yeah, it makes me wonder why, but it doesn't bother me to the extent of searching for who it was and why they un-friended me. As long as the people who I actually converse with are still my Facebook friends, then it doesn't matter who it is or his/her motive for doing it.

the majority of my FB friends are friends in real life. I have a few that are friends or acquaintances of family, primarily for networking purposes.
