I remember very well though i was very small that time. Door Darshan news showed the video aftermath, believe me it was horrible to see the train lying inside the water with no survivors at all. RIP

@farhaans : I can never forget that incident of the train toppling into the "AshTamuDi" lake. My father's cousin's husband, an ISRO engineer at that time, was one of the survivors.

Sadly though, a lot of lives were lost, including that of Karnataka medium-pace bowler, Ranjit Khanvilkar, who was 26 or 27 years old at that time...

Hey , Nice description and I only knew that a tradgedy had happened to the Island Express the years before !!!! Eventhough nowadays Island Express arrives its destination on time !!!! He has come up a lot after its tradgedy !!!! Meanwhile you take all the videos nicely !!!! Thanks for sharing !!!!!!
