  • Nice job James. My stompin' grounds south of Stone Rd. was decimated a quarter century ago...there were some great cedars there. The almighty dollar seems too easily to capture the hearts of many.

  • thanks!

    James

  • great intention! unfortunately can't hear your words all the way thru. Guitar is loud and in the 'busy word' sections, I can't make out the words! And I strongly agree to your point!! Leave the trees alone.

  • I have been documenting and vlogging it on facebook. we fought it and bought about 15 years respite for the trees but then we changed council and the developers made a backroom sweetheart deal and now 12 units on land that should hold no more then 4 houses and would have been better left green. The lower part of the land is now protected but it is poor consolation

  • Thanks James this is so well timed for me. They just brutally pulled down a field of trees across the road from me while the neighbours stood out and cried. They ran them through the chipper and the day you put this up our neighbourhood reaked with the smell of their rotting carcases. The devatation and our grief is strong. In the place of the trees we will now have 12 $350000 condos in neighbourhood of houses worth $150000. Alex (Henry's step daughter)

  • Thanks Alex.... I'm getting a very large response to this..

shows that it's a universal problem that has to be addressed soon! James
