@Brnxkid653, OK, Dex died in the finale. If you recall in the reunion movie that came out two yrs later, Joan Collins' character of Alexis says that he didn't fare well, and it was mentioned that it was noted/believed that Michael Nadar's character of Dex died.

I drove myself crazy after I saw this episode because I thought there was an episode after this that I just couldn't seem to find. This is the best ending to a television series I have ever seen, even though it leaves you yelling at the TV to show you what happened, ha-ha.

Stephanie Beacham is my favorite Dynasty actor. Her sheer brilliance in acting is truly magnificent. Her portrayal of Sabella (Sable) Colby is so finely tuned to perfection. I could imagine her to be so jet set and of a higher nobility. Her actual demeanor to me hints that she is or may be British as she pulls off that accent so beautifully. British Nobility/pedigree? Or a convincing actor!!!

Here is a most dramatic end to a long-running television soap opera! Whilst it was wonderful to see Dynasty return for the mini-series a few years later, this clip is the last we ever see or even hear of Sable and Monica! "Dynasty, The Reunion" may have resolved most of Series 9's cliffhangers, but the fate of Sable, played so magnificently by Stephanie Beacham, remains a mystery!

Dynasty always had a problem disuising the use of airbags. The railing seems to "bounce" and break into pieces as it falls. The fact one of the tech. people's head is in the shot as Joan falls. The overall attention to detail was lost by this point. I was disappointed in Joan's performance in this. In this her final scene in the vehicle that made her I would have hoped she'd put more into her final scene.

Stephanie made Dynasty worth watching at this point. Joan, not at all happy about being reduced to a reocurring role. Made it clear she wanted out after this season began. Knowing this the writers came up with a far from original way of writing her out.There are times when cast members really looked bored. Anyone see the head of the guy assisting Joan and Michael fall?

Ahh I love Sable. I thought it was wonderful the way Stephanie Beacham camped it up in the final season. I think she realized that the show was on its way out and just went for it! Wonderful, melodramatic ending to a crazy (in a good way) show!

Actually, Joan didn't appear until the first episode of season 2 (when she saved the show), which helps account for weak sales of the season 1 DVD set (since the Alexis character didn't appear in season 1 - except at the very end when we didn't know of the character). Let's hope that the season 2 set does much better when it becomes available 8/14/2007!
