It's still going to be an awesome game. They have made it very cartoony and childish now. There used to be mating sequences, and gore. You could actually eat their bodies after a monster was dead, and there was actually blood. There was also ragdoll physics. This was all in the 2005 version. Also in the cellphase it was actually like looking through a microscope, everything didn't have big cartoony googly eyes.
Yes they have changed lots from what it used to be, but the gameplay hasn't really change. But if someone don't play it because of things you pointed out then...tuff for them.
There still is all that stuff (not so much the mating). Ya just need to know where to look for the right videos. They can do that on e10+ video games, one time I played an e10+ video game full of blood and some swaring.
