I recommended 10-15 lbs drop in tension for polyester to protect your arm. The best playable tension will be determined by a number of veriables, which can only be determined by experimentation. How much you differentiate between mains and crosses will likewise be determined by experimentation. All things being equal I string the crosses 10% above the mains.
Regarding the stringing tension for polyester, I disagree to dropping the tension 10-15 lbs. I have been lowering the tension about 5 or 6 lbs and it seems to be right where it needs to be. However, I'm just going on what I feel playing with it, I have not figured out how much 10% less is and strung it that way. For example, If I am blending the poly, and using it in the mains, I'll set it at 55 lbs if I want it to be at 60 lbs. Let me know what you think, I'd like to get RSA certified.
I have a racquet strung at 53 lbs with a poly. If I want to string an identical racquet with a multi but want it to have slightly more power then what should I string it at. Thanks.
You are such a legend. I've taken years drawing up charts and tables to easily find what sort of players can go for which blends and you cover it all in 10 minutes. If you lived close to me I would sweep your floors and clean your windows forever just to learn from you!!!!!
