Perhaps this is the governments answer to their biggest mistake ever... "GUN FREE ZONES" one shotgun on premises under lock and key to dispatch a bad guy. of course... a 12 ga w/ a 14" barrel would be my last choice when going after a bad guy on a killing spree in a school. Too much chance of injuring the sheeple you are trying to protect.

Maybe the DOE has decided to give classes in self defense. Or they finally recognize that "No Gun Zones" are recognized as "Unarmed Target Zones" by Non-Law abiding citizens.

Apparently the Education Dept. has a law enforcement arm responsible for the detection of waste, fraud, abuse, and other criminal activity involving Federal education funds, programs, and operations.
