haha you european lovers are trippin. your just mad that the ssc aero took the crown from the veyron. The SSC Aero may not have the luxury but honestly...the aero completely walks the veyron. It beat the veyron by 9 car lengths in a race to 180.....the aero has MORE HP MORE torque and weighs alot less with HALF the cylinders. so really...lets say that bugatti does release a stripped "race" version of the veyron and it does happen to beat the aero....SHELBY will just come out with a 2000hp SC V10

look everyone the veyron was made for luxury and to be fast ,also to be way ahead of its time . the ccxr is also a great car but made for looks and handling. then theres the aero. the aero may b fast but its stripped with no luxury in it. the veyron stripped would kill it by miles. i like both cars but i think the ccxr is just that bit better

oh god... again arguing the top speeds. Good cars are about SOO much more than top speed. The Bugatti did 407 kmh. 253 Mph and its probably the only one of them that will ever go that fast.. A normal person cant just do that on his way to work. A supercar is about looking cool, handling well and going fast.. But the top speeds have been more or less the same since 1960s and will keep more or less the same top speeds in the future. Only the quality, handling and safety has really changed.

CCR did 252 with a heavier body and less BHP, Veyron did 253, SSC Ultimate Aero did 256. the CCR that set 252 is the Predecessor to the CCX which is then a Predecessor to the CCXR...

The above statements are unarguable facts. The next statements will be based on theory. CCXR is Lighter and more powerful than the CCR and any educated engineer or car specialist would estimate the CCXR beating the Veyron's record.

Although theory's are theory's, you can disagree.. thats live i asume.

yes, that is very true; however, the koenigsegg was not built for the same purposes that the bugatti was. The koenigsegg is a fantastic hard-core racer built for the road that can do 258mph, whereas the veyron is a reliable, luxurious, long-distance cruiser and can do 253mph. The veyron's top speed is less, obviously, since it has a considerable amount more of weight and the koenigsegg. There is no need to argue though. They are both incredible cars and I would be happy with either any day
