  • charlie is a mexican

  • Beans, corn, and squash are what the Native Americans used to eat and they lived long and healthy lives. This video includes too much dairy in a diet, people only need at most 1 dairy product a day.

  • @Vidda90 You have to remember though, this video was made in 1945 for people in Latin American countries so it had to include things they could easily grow and maintain themselves. It had to work for the rural areas as well as the urban areas in Latin American countries. Anything marked Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs on it from Disney was meant for Latin American countries back in the Forties.

  • @Vidda90 They didn't eat just that. They hunted deer/buffalo/sheep for meat, they fished, they forged fruit from the environment and grew fruit trees, and they grew a large variety of regional foods outside the Three Sisters polyculture.

  • good video!! good diet= healthy living ! its important to have a variety of foods in our daily diet .

  • Thats an expensive grocery bill. All that fruit and vegetables for every meal? Thats bad during a depression.

  • Did he just say that animal foods are muscle builders?! Wow!

  • veggaddibles

  • Require meat and only meat...that would be me sir XD

  • good food and healthy hahahaha ♥♥ nice video ahahaha no eat the junk food

  • good food and healthy hahahaha ♥♥

  • good food and healthy

  • Careful, Charlie!

  • Why does the worm have to always pop up out of the apple and not the steak.I wonder what psycological effects does that have on discouraging the kids from eating fruits and veggies.

  • @Dannily92 Also, at 4:07, if you squint at the hand, and then look at its relative position to Charlie, you'll be scarred forever.

  • Hey, I just read in the encyclopedia that cattle don't have top teeth, only bottom ones (they actually share this trait with camelids as well) so, unlike memebers of the equine family, they are incapable of clipping grass as is incorrectly shown in this clip. Instead, cattle must rip foliage in order to collect it.

  • careless charlie's wife is pretty sexy.

  • Milk, the perfect food... Except if you're lactose intolerant.

  • @CassandraH18 Well, then you're just a freak.

  • @SgtHydra Not really. Cow's milk contains a sugar in it that humans as a species weren't designed to break down. The ability to break the sugar down naturally is more freakish then not being able to do it.

  • @CassandraH18 True- my dad and one of my brothers are lactose intolerant which it's due to our Sicilian heritage

  • Lol Careless Charlie just HAS to be Mexican huh?

  • @hagamablabla yeah!!! just look at him hahaha

  • ...milk is a drink.

  • they used "charlie" in another cartoon--which one was it?

  • @XBlackRoseAlchemistX He was in the unseen enemy one, about disease. Also in the thatched cottage, but with no family (or toilets). :)

  • why does it have the bambi music in that health cartoon

  • @ErikaShawna charlie likes to eat bambi

  • Charlie must be Mexican or South American, he lives in a thatch roof house, and eats mangoes and platens, both of witch were uncommon in US diets during WW II

  • im hungry now...

  • bambi?

  • I love animal products! seriously, i do.

  • How primitive! It's "animal products" that are now attributed to so many health concerns: certain cancers, type 2 diabetes, heart issues, and more... We can thrive on a plant based vegan diet. You can get all the "protein" you need from beans, nuts and seeds.

  • @beaelliott NO YOU CANNOT! The only protein with a complete amino acid profile is Soya bean, which has phytoestrogen and is bad for males. Potency test has showed that animals fed with soya bean become impotent. Yes. Vegetables contain almost no protein, grains contain a little protein, legumes contain moderate protein, animal flesh / eggs are protein dense. Don't believe the lies vegans tell you. It's animal fats that lead to disease, not flesh.

  • @AAV47 Well... According to the American Dietetic Association - "vegetarian diets, including total vegetarian or vegan diets, are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and may provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases." Are you a dietician? Furthermore, the Seventh Day Adventists boast the longest life span in the U.S. - 10 years longer. They are vegetarians...

  • @beaelliott Hmm.... ok there may be some element of truth in that, but i feel that the iron, zinc and creatine in red meat make me feel more alive and alert.

  • @AAV47 If you eat the proper amount of leafy greeens, colorful veggies and fruits... Along with nuts and seeds the exact same amount (if not more) of iron and zinc will be absorbed by your body. And the amount of creatine in flesh is minimal and should not be a concern unless you're a body builder looking to "bulk up". In such case there are vegan supplements. But overall vegan diets increase energy by providing vital nutrients. Beans = meat - only better for health.

  • @beaelliott The creatine in flesh is actually quite substantial when consumed regularly. Beans are good, but are a 2nd class protein. Only meat and soy are 1st class proteins.

  • @AAV47 I suggest you google or look up on youtube: Vegan Athletes- Not a one of these highly competitive sports persons is lacking anything due to their diets. After 50+ years on a meat based diet and being vegan/vegetarian for the last 8 years- With no additional "supplements" in the way of vitamins or minerals-I can say I feel better now - more energetic and "alive" than I did 3 decades ago.For me (and many others) a vegan diet has been a youth fountain.I have no regrets & nothing but praise.

  • @beaelliott Hmm.... ok I'll look it up then. Thx for the suggestion :)

  • @AAV47 Thanks for having an open ming AAV47! It takes a courageous person to question nearly everything we've been taught all our lives --- Good on you! :)

  • @beaelliott Actually, I have no problems looking and researching into a vegetarian diet. But I will never trust the lying corporations like PETA and other bogus hypocritical organisations that promote it. They have no sense of ethics at all. At least the slaughterhouse is more truthful than PETA. They take snippets of the bible, quran, torah, etc to promote vegetarianism which is false. I cannot trust these liars, that is why I'm reluctant to believe without hard evidence.

  • @AAV47 - Not associated with peta - at all... To help your research: Physicians for Responsible Medicine The China Study The Engine 2 Diet Dr Milton Mills Dr Dean Ornish Diet for New America by John Robbins World Peace Diet by Will Tuttle The Vegetarian Resource Group Vegetarian Diet: A Starter’s Guide to a Plant-based Diet– Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research Vegetarian Diets - American Heart Association Vegetarian Nutrition – Food and Nutrition Information Center, USDA
  • @beaelliott ah! ok thx for the info!

  • @beaelliott Ugh, a you sound like a brainwashed PETA sponsor.

  • He look like mario

  • oh man, yellow milk...

  • @JohnTheEncyklopedia In it's raw state, cow's milk does have a tint of yellow in it. I believe it's because cow's milk has a higher butterfat to it than milk from other common dairy animals.

  • @MrHP25 okay, the truth is, i've been in countryside numerous times, although i do believe i've never really drunk fresh milk

  • ha ha look at careless charlie and his mexican fiesta

  • In your FACE Atkins Diet. XD

  • @battybuddy Well, this really doesn't say why Atkins' would not be a good option.

  • @kaspaasikaskadi Niether does a joke about chickens crossing roads explain migration patterns of domesticated fouls.

  • Its interesting how farms at this time were based on providing all the food a family needs rather than specialization.

  • They have a lot of bananas, considering there was a war on...

  • Apparently if you eat right, even the walls in your house will look better!

  • Good foods allow you to work harder!

  • Rats, seems like I need to eat meat to have nice walls :)

  • @mikeg642000

It also makes your black hair brown. But only if you're a girl:)

  • Maybe it was the Vegetable food group? :)

  • Comment removed

  • Mmmm... I really want some pumpkin right now...

  • eww, that cows milk is yellow, and on another note all that protein in milk actually leeches calcium, so not the perfect food

  • what this is ridiculous, u dont need animal foods for muscles

  • its made in 1945. remember science was nt that advanced at that time. give it a break.

  • @meloveultraman Xray was in that time.

  • Meat is the main source of protein. Only beef provides all 7 kinds of proteins, however poultry (chickens, ducks, geese, wild birds) eggs and red meat from sheep and goats are also excellent sources of protein. They mentioned beans as energy but they are a good source of protein as well especially when eaten with wheat and durum (pasta).

  • watch?v=wel7J3ZqhxY

  • haha the charlies are mexican

  • This video is crappy speciesist propaganda!

  • "Careless Charlie" LOL. i need a wife like he has. she's hot

  • they are using the music from Bambi

  • mmm, venison :D

  • Lol! I totally caught that! I was like "where is that from!?!?" thanks for letting me know :)
