  • this is only good for single player rpg's and even then you are risking it. Some games dont come with 1080p, or surround sound, multiplayer. But the disc always does if the game is compatible. I got fable 2 so far and its good. Im going to be very cautious on future downloads;.

  • Will Black ops come out on the marketplace??

  • Comment removed

  • get the discs versions, i bet you anything this xbox live will shut down like original and all ur purchased content will be gone, think about it, you can still install n no noise of disk

  • this is for lazy people that cant go and buy the game

  • OH SHIT VIVA PINATA!

  • If I had a hard drive I would be buying games like crazy, but I don't have one so what does it matter.

  • I admit I like the convenience of buying from Games On Demand, but I would probably want to buy certain games that don't work so well when installed (i.e. Halo 3).

    BJ

  • @95DNA ya u hav to hav xbox live but I'm not sure If u can use game points for that.

  • i have two ?'s first of all, do you need xbox live? secondly, my friend says you can use your game points to get certain arcade games, is that true?

    Well it let me atleast

  • the option buy doesnt show up.wtf

  • so do these games work online in multiplayer? i wanna buy halo 3 again because i miss the multiplayer. so if i buy it on demand will it work?

  • I tried to buy a game, it charged me, and then this message just keeps coming up saying it cant download... so I got jewed, thanks Microsoft! :D

anyone know how to fix this so I can actually play the game I paid for?

  • thanks for making this clip it really helped coz i got ps3 slim and on playstation store u cant download every single game demo and i thought on the xbox live marketplace u can but its the same

  • Microsoft points made xbox more enjoyable

  • well i buy games in demand not a big deal. dont care if in the hardrive or on disc,

  • Joe you should care about the gam because it takes up alot of harddrive space.

  • does anyone know how i can get a list of all the games in the xbox 360 marketplace?

the reason i ask is because i will get xbox live very soon and i dont want to have through all the games to find something i like and over look something else.

  • not many games are for downloading and you can go to xbox website to look at them and order it from there.

  • i have the 120 gb SO I DONT HAVE A PROBLOM

  • I have to say Iam with you on this, if you have a big HD, then ...well it really wont matter, I just bought Mass Effect and Dead Space =P

Oh yeah, I know your comment is three months old.

  • What application did you use to edit this video? With iMovie 09? Thanks.

  • can you use microsoft points on this to buy games just like xbox live marketplace

  • yea you can press buy then Y to buy with microsoft points gta iv costs 2400 ms points :))

  • @Thegrimreaper40 did it go down to about 1600?

  • @Thegrimreaper40 Thanks I bought it back! But it's X now.

  • @Thegrimreaper40 how much fifa 12 costs ? can you check it out please?

  • yes you can use ms points to buy the games

  • everybory, the mais top reason why games on demand are expensive is because you can download in your home and not go out to buy, you can download in the comfort of you house =D

  • i dont understand why people are crying about overpriceing and shit when alot of these games are at the platium price from walmart but the only thing i am confused on is the on demand games have achiments or not if any one knows can you message me thank u

  • THERE IS ACHIEVEMENTS

  • whoa mass effect is £5 in game now. no way in hell am i going to buy games for 20 when they are cheaper in store

cant lend your friends the games on demand, cant trade them in, eats up 5GB off your harddrive

    its gaming hell

  • OK Microsoft is getting close but here's what they should had done. MAKE AN ON DEMAND GAME RENTAL SERVICE!!!!!!. Yes make every game Rent-able for 4.99 or higher depending on the price of the game.

  • One of the best comments so far. Great idea. They would make a killing!

  • @DizzyDougTV

no it would be stupid you would have to take forever to download it...full games are long taking downloads its dumb

  • @MlbIndian no... they have such aweful prices that youd pay 5 bucks for something youd get for a day

  • @MlbIndian Hell yeah! They should make it 4.99-10.99.But for orginal Xbox games it should be like $1.99 or 99 cents.

  • if i buy a game??? do i gett the acheivments???

  • Yes.

  • thx dude...i might buy a game then =)

  • @DizzyDougTV hey im new to xbox live and i was wondering if they still have this on demand thing? will they probly have evry game to buy over th market? and i saw that if you choose to buy a game will you be able to also buy maps, and add ons with the download? on final question is that i have call of duty world at war and i want to buy all the maps and nazi zombie maps do i just go to game add ons?

  • Will they be updating it??

  • call of duty 2 for 20 quid? Fuck you microsoft.

  • u kidding me i got bioshock for 10 bucks

  • games on demand are over priced. u could easily go on the internet and get a better deal than what "micro rip offs" r charging u

  • they should all be 1600 or 1200 those games are really old and we cant even use microsoft points i was just gonna use my microsoft points to get bad company only to find out that it 20$ might as well use those points and buy batlefield 1943 and someother arcade game or the add on for mass effect with the other 400

  • well u can get like nfs carbon with 1600 ms points

  • i want them to add sonics ultimate genesis collection, so far, i dont like the games on games on demand, its not really worth it

  • wait a sec there on my games on demand thing it only shows like bioshock n stuff.......not sonic etc

  • don't just look on the games on demand tab. Go to game marketplace and then hit games on demand and hit all games on demand and ull see every game they have in store.

  • seriously?? I'm turning on my 360 now!

  • Cod 2 is 30 bucks and i bought it like 2 years ago for 20.... wtf?

  • its 1600ms points, thats still 20 bucks, but yea still, expensive

  • um its 2400

  • ooh really, i just said it was 1600 i thought all the games were 1600

  • A bit expensive for the games though. Why is that? Theres no box or any physical part and its the same price as the stores sells it... Heres what I came up with to get your moneys worth. : Put your Gamertag on a friends 360 and unlock it for them, charge them half for the game and still play it at home as long as you're signed in to xbox live..

  • Way too much drama just to play a game. And..If you get caught, you risk having that GT banned from XBL.

I say just buy game disks as we've always done. Games on demand is way to pricey, and I like to see a return on my investment by trading games in when I am done with them. Can't trade these in, no physical media, and too expensive.

  • Theres nothing for MS to ban you, because you're granted 2 licenses. One for the Console you unlock the game on and one for the account that unlocked it, no worries whatsoever. But I do agree with the last part of your comment, It is bad for the Stores business with the downloads and I still don't know why you're charged all that tax and rip off prices for a non existent Package that doesn't harm the environment except your wallet..

  • man i thiink the games for download should at least be $5 dollars cheaper, cuz they don,t give refunds, the actual disc, case, or manual, plus it takes a chunk of ur memory

  • But If you Get the urge to play it you can just redownload it.Not like you pay more then you got back for it again

  • lets hope they release CoD:MW2 :D

  • The games will not function as well, without a disc. That's why you have "Install To Harddrive", but still need the disc.

  • not true at all my frend...not even close.

  • What do you mean, not even close. I found out it takes 2-3 bullshit hours to download them.

  • Comment removed

  • with this new feature they better release a 500gb hard drive for 360 cause ull defanly need it also haveing the full games it a realy nice idea cause if the game is sold out or just cant find it u can allways download it and when 360 gets old it u can still get ever1 of the game of this time i wish sega gen had that i loved and alwsys ill love that system today u cant even find most of the cartergeds for it

  • Yes i agree with everything you said here,i just cant believe this hasnt been done before,i think what they should do is make it so you can download new release games, but to be honest i dont se it happining now, maybe another 1-2 years down the line?

  • can you go online with thoose games? because i want battlefield bad company but i don't know if you can go online with it

  • U CAN

  • Well, it all depends on the game. If it isn't online multiplayer capable, then no. Vice-versa, yes.

***Battlefield Bad Company does have online multiplayer, but not many people go on these days due to some other popular FPS... *Cough Cough* Modern warfare, World at War...

  • it just camer outt

  • Id rather get the cd for less to. Some of that shit is to high.

  • great vid man. but they should lower the prices.

i just saw cod 2 at gamestop for like ten bucks.

but you know it could work but the prices are going to have to go down.

  • I agree.

  • Pretty cool, but if you look at the bright side, yeah these games are wayyyy to high of a price. But you'll still be able to download new released, just not the exact day it comes out. I hope MS is smart enough to make those 60.00

  • Yeah. I'm having a hard time seeing the bright side of this. Yes you can purchase "on demand" but I can get all of the same titles in the stores, used for less. Hell even on eBay. And i'll have the physical disk. One that I can trade in, if I want to in the future.

  • i bought cod2 for 13 bucks the other day and they want 30...?

  • Basically. Microsoft is trying to eliminate the production costs associated with creating, and distributing physical media.

  • The only time I'd use this is if I'm bored out of my mind and wanted to pick up a game on the fly without going out and purchasing it. But that's a rare occasion. I'd much rather try to snag some of these older titles on ebay for a fraction of the price that they are for on "Games on Demand".

  • I hear ya. I just don't think I can ever be persuaded to buy one, at such a high price, when I can get an actual disk at GameStop or eBay for less and trade it in when I'm done with it.

  • i agree with u but i guess they are expensive because a physical copy can be damaged while this one can be downloaded again and again if u purchase it once and delete it

  • Yeah but some games are over expensive. I can get cheaper at GameStop. But, I think i'm going to star using this!

  • over here the games are more expensive in the copy than the games on demand and i dont even buy used games 2 many problems with my used games that i've bought

  • I agree - $20 or more is a bit much. I'd much rather have the physical copies, if possible.

  • Yep.. I am a "want to have it in my hand" kinda guy. These games have no trade in value, so the cost on investment will never go down like it does with physical media.

I don't know why Microsoft is pushing downloadable everything these days. I know TONS of people who can't get broadband where they live.

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • Not a problem.
