@ladycordelia17 On that note, I was astounded when I made that connection. The only places I've heard Sephiroth by George Newbern were Kingdom Hearts 2 and Advent Children, and in both of those he was a pretty flat character. (Yes, Seph is cool, but he's a little lacking in the personality department.) Nooj, on the other hand, can go from sounding like fangirl bait to sounding absolutely terrifying. The man has an amazing range.

@Saturnstales - I'm guessing that (in the English version of FFX-2) most, if not all, of Nooj's charm comes from being voiced by actor George Newbern - who, as every Final Fantasy fan knows, also voices Sephiroth pretty much everywhere the silver swordsman shows his pale, pointed face.

This side of the game and the whole Crimson Squad thing was so much more interesting than the main story.

It was Shuyin who possessed nooj........Shuyin was a native from the real Zanarkand...........He met a songstrees and summoner named lenne and became Lovers.............When they got involved in a war between Bevelle and Zanarakand he planned on using Vegnagun to end the war but Lenne stopped hima nd they were gunned down.....So now he existed as a spirit possessing people and using them to activate Vegnagun..He later is stopped and Lenne emerges as spirit ..Shuyin abandones his plan and rests

I know you want what was in that chest before the cutscene occured, you have to explore all three sections where those lifts were and activate the switches, then hop down and claim a dresssphere, the best one in the game IMO

So we finally fins Baralai and Nooj. So New Yevon isn't the bad guy. Wtf came out of Nooj and into Baralai.Finally Paine intervenes wtf is that thing it didn't put up much of a fight. Rikku toke the words right out of my mouth.
