  • All this could be avoided if women Christian, listen to the biblical precept to wear the veil (1 Corinthians 11).

    Why they not do?

  • Mcv7788 they don't brain wash ppl ok!

  • Ya can't say anything !!!!!!!!!!!I am good

  • I am Pentecostal and there is nothing wrong with that so get over it ppl!!!!!

  • My aunt is pentacostal and she needs to cut her glory because her shit is split up to the roots. Petacostal churches brain wash people plain and simple.

  • Sooo women should wear skirts/dresses because jeans are form fitting meaning someone will notice you might have a nice ass. Shouldn't the person looking have to wear blinders or something? Why does the woman have to cover up? Should guys wear jeans too just in case they have a nice ass???????

  • Sorry. The kid is cute. But that looks like a rat's nest

  • I'm a Pentecostal, and I've been filled with the Holy Ghost. I wear jeans and have medium length hair. I don't think there is anything wrong with jeans and short hair. I also don't think there is anything wrong with wearing skirts and having long hair. It's all about your own personal conviction. As long as you aren't showing off too much skin, I believe you can be modest in jeans and short hair in public. I wouldn't ever wear jeans in God's house though.

  • i keep reading comments about how it's unfair to girls to have their hair long and to have to mess with it. Apostolic women love their long hair because in Corinthians it states your hair is your covering, your glory. it states if you cut (trimming counts as cutting) you might as well shave all your hair off. I love my religion, and I am very proud to call myself an Apostolic :)

  • Your putting Gods POWER or Faith in YOUR own work / growing your hair. Hair is just hair no POWER in that.

  • Your putting Gods POWER or Faith in YOUR own work / growing your hair. Hair is just hair no POWER in that.

  • This is the scripture about the angles and power: 1 Corinthians 11:5, 10 KJV

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

  • I was reading some of the comments and I thought this would clear some stuff up: 1 Corinthians 11:5-9 KJV

But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God:

  • in KJV you will find it at 1 Corinthians 11:1-16

  • Thats awful. Glad our church dont do that.

  • Uncut hair gives you power over the angels

  • @adsmiley7 WHERE is that in the Bible? I have read it cover to cover! You won't find that doctrine in the scripture.

  • @adsmiley7 Oh really? How do you suppose that?

  • wow. . thank u for this coz my sister had an 19' of hair length . . and she's 7 y/o .. never cut eversince. . ofcourse were pentecostal my parents wont let the hair of my sister to be cut ..

  • What kinda spray did you use??

  • @bethbailey67- All the little girl (young as 4!) all want there hair done like that to look like the girls in my youth group! I have done my friend's sister's hair and she got a lot of complements! My my friend is 12 and wears 4in heels SOO us Apostolic/Pentecostal love our heels and hair!!! UPC OR ALJC HEELS,HAIR,AND GOD IS OUR THING!!!

  • I just feel sorry for these little girls who have to go around with their hair looking like old women. Let them be little girls for goodness sake.

  • The thing is we don't think it "saves us" So you if you have been told that you are totally misguided. We are saved through grace. We are not made to look or dress a certain way. This is our choice. We feel a calling to live this way. No man has made this rule for me. This is my God given life. : )

  • @SarahJene85 well sorry but u are wrong how about u go read the bible and look for ya slef of one thing the lord said that he is the same yeasterday.today and forever so if he is the same god back then when a woman had to have long hair and had to actually be dressed to were u chould not see her junk then that is the way he wonts us to be till the end of time

  • @13jesusismylord So you're saying if you have hatred and malice in your heart and wear a skirt and have long hair that you are going to heaven?? I'm saying your outward appearance alone does not save you. If I think I'm getting to heaven just by putting on a skirt, I'm mistaken. But I'm not saying God doesn't want that out of us. Holiness comes from the inside out.

  • y isnt there any sound??? i cant concentrate w/ out sound!! :)

  • Our women are the most beautiful women in the world; at any age. Their beautiful hair is just one small part of it and how they fix it is so unique as their fingerprints.

  • It's a beautiful hairstyle, but all I can think about are that poor child's lungs! With all that hairspray, I pray to God she does not have/develop asthma!

  • If they are not bothering you...what's it to you?? You sound like a "Christian" but being a christian does not judge. Do you judge the Amish for wearing bonnets or riding in bugies?? What is the difference? They are doing what they believe...and they are not hurtingin anyone...so if you don't believe don't do it. Simple as that.

  • @nofear13x Why impose so many rules on God's daughters? Some say we have to wear dresses and no make-up, but it's okay to wear jewelry. Others say, long sleeves neck covered, while others say, no short sleeves are okay and the list of don't goes on and on and on!

  • @nofear13x In the book of Acts when the gentiles began to convert to "The Way," some decided to make "rules" for them. It became such a problem that the leaders had to consult with the Lord. This is what took place...

  • @nofear13x Certain people came down from Judea to Antioch and were teaching the believers: “Unless you are circumcised, according to the custom taught by Moses, you cannot be saved.” This brought Paul and Barnabas into sharp dispute and debate with them. So Paul and Barnabas were appointed, along with some other believers, to go up to Jerusalem to see the apostles and elders about this question. The church sent them on their way...

  • @nofear13x Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses. ... The apostles and elders met to consider this question. After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: “Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe.

  • @nofear13xGod, who knows the HEART, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us. He did not discriminate between us and them, for he PURIFIED THEIR HEARTS by FAITH. Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear? No! We believe it is through the GRACE of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

  • @nofear13x We are saved by His loving grace, not by our works. The book of Joel says that our self-righteousness is as filthy rags! I am saved and can not add to my salvation by wearing dresses, having long hair (although I do have very long hair, but out of my own free will) or "obeying" any other rule man has made up for God's daughters!

  • @Helives111 u are wrong sorry but u are go to a true apostlic church like the one i go to and u will see

  • @nofear13x The Apostle Paul also spoke to the leaders of the church. He said, "He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?) There are mighty men of God who have disobedient children, but that doesn't stop them from pastoring, because there is a calling in their lives, there is a fire "shut up in their bones."

  • @nofear13x The bottom line is that every HONEST child of God who TRULY seeks to do HIS will will do HIS will. I don't need man to tell me what holiness is! Especially when they can't agree. Who's going to heaven? Who's going to hell? It's not up to man. 1Cor. 6 "All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful." I choose to live a holy life before my Lord and Savior. I am free, "...whom the son has set free is free indeed."

  • @nofear13x Gal. 5 "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." But, let us use that freedom wisely, not foolishly. I have the freedom to dress modestly, wear modest hairstyles, watch wholesome movies, have wholesome conversations, have good christian friends, not neglecting or looking down at those who don't know the Lord and so on.... THANK YOU JESUS FOR MY SALVATION, AND FOR SETTING ME FREE! PRAISE GOD!

  • they're so cute! Keep it up!

  • I feel so sorry for these kids and women that are taught that having long hair is part of their salvation. The crazy pentecostals don't have a clue what the "hair" scripture refers to as it means Christians are to keep a covering and rememberance of Christ over their heads because of the (fallen) angels.

  • @sandavols i am a apostlic pentecostal and i am not crazy i do what i think will get me to heven and u are the one miss reading it it said that her hair is her covering and i am 13 so take that u just got told by a teen :P

  • we r saved by grace not through a church or denomination, neither the church nor a denomination died for me at the cross..like TheEvilpoo said, God is not going entrance to heaven to a person based on wether they style their hair PENTECOSTAL-style wathever dat may mean...

  • ...................Huh? I'm a Pentecostal and I always do my hair in different ways..............This is new to me. There are different types of Pentecostals I think. The one I go to is an all hispanic church. We all get hair cuts and stuff. But whatever the hair is cute.

  • @melody15100 and about da hair its true women should not cut their hair, but what it means is dat a woman shouldn't shave her head, because obviously she is goin to look like a man, and if she cuts and styles her hair in a masculine way she is goin to look like a man, the same thing applies to men, ive seen men with long hair that look like men, but ive also seen men w long hair and look like women

  • @OneIsrael77 thanks for clearing that up for me.lol.

  • @OneIsrael77 a man should not have long hair the bible said for a woman to have losg hair it is her covering and her glory for a man to have long hair it is a shame unto him(this is not exactually the words but it still means the same)

  • @13jesusismylord Corinth is in Greece, homosexuality was very common in dat region and men that had long hair did it with the intention of bein like women, and married women and respectable women bore a head covering a veil, a woman with no veil in Corinth was either a temple prostitute or a transvestite, transgender and transvetites were common in Greece, sorry for the reality check, but i don't just read the bible like an ordinary book, i depend on the Holy Spirit for interpretation not mens.

  • @13jesusismylord another interesting point would be that the subject of the hair was only mentioned once in the bible, and it was in a region where lesbianism and homosexuality was very common(Corinth, Greece), second there were many men of God like Samuel, Samson, and in the NT JOhn the Baptist whom had long hair, and God did not send them to hell, but all three were very powerful men in God

  • Cute Hair-do! i am Pentecostal Holiness and i don't cut my hair or wear pants bc i believe it's clearly stated in the Bible....

  • @melaniepeachy When the bible speak of men not dressing like women and, and women not to dress like men, its talking about clothes dat look feminine, I am a man but if i wear a pair of trousers that have the shape for a womans legs, then im going to look like a woman, and if woman wears pants dat are for men she is goin to look like a man, we cant da bible literally, historical FACT, pants were not invented later in time, and most biblical characters wore long robes not pants...

  • The hairstyle is beautiful. I have been looking at how to go about doing a bun such as this one. Thanks so much for sharing. For me, I have been in a Holiness church all my life and I love it to the fullest. I thank God for the Holy Ghost and the spirit of obedience. You keep doing what you do- keep worshiping the true and living God. Many people may have their opinions, but God has given the final say so. Obey His word and you will not go wrong. Again thanks for posting.

  • As pentacostals we do not believe that you are going to go to hell for cutting your hair. we believe that God gave us our beautiful hair as our glory and a covering. We do not judge people who do not wear skirts/dresses. We have a personal beliefe and strongly believe in modesty. If a women wants to waer pants they really can not be very modest, jeans are very form fitting and tight. We should not get attention for what shape our body isFor you Christians to judge us that is actually not right.

  • @bahusfelt08 I do not believe the way you do but, you have the correct spirit about what you believe. whoever you are, stay that way lol-dont lose your non-judgemental approach/attitude. God Bless.

  • @bahusfelt08

    Wow great reply!!

I cannot think of a better more honest and nicer way to re phrase it.

    Amen!

  • @bahusfelt08 I judge all the time and that is why I don't follow the lord's word. May God bless me with his holy light, so as to change.

  • @bahusfelt08 Your an idiot that should not be allowed to be out of your cage..Women who cut their hair will go to Hell...

  • @gazaking765 You are nuts if you really think that

  • Do you really think God thinks its important for this little girl to breath hairspray for 15 minutes? Really?? Besides, I'm not real sure God would approve of your using such modern "tricks" as hairspray. God made her hair natural, so leave it alone and stop trying to improve on God's handiwork!

  • I'm sorry that this upsets you so much, but I am simply responding to "Tipperose" concerning one of your religion's holiness rules, pants.

  • DO NOT jUDGE..... LEST YOU BE JUDGE ...ENOUGH SAID...SHE IS FIXING HER DAUGHTERS HAIR NOT BEATING HER OR MISTREATING HER

  • @ladonnachad AMEN SISTA!!

  • the apostle clearly instructs us to test the spirits! A will not follow a man of God who has a dominant spirit. It is an honor to follow a man of God who, rightly divides the word of truth and does not add to the word of God.

  • @Helives111 I agree with you woman of God. We men suppose to love our wives

and love don't dominant (Eph. 5:25 &28). Like Christ love the church so we ought

to love our wives as our own bodies. Also I believe that a woman's hair is her glory.

I feel that long hair adds to a woman's femininty and she shouldn't cut it,and so

does wearing dresses and skirts. As a single man that's what I desire in a wife.

  • So why am I rebellious if I shop for my pants in the womens dept? I don't wear tight pants, as I am sure you don't wear tight skirts. Now that WOULD BE immodest and unholy. Jesus spoke very little on the subject (outward appearance); but when he did he spoke very harshly to the priests, who looked holy on the ouside.

I have wonderful "holy" friends who wear only dresses, but I also have wonderful "holy" friends who wear dresses and pants. I respect and honor the man of God, but...

  • It's so simple, why does man have to complicate things? God did not want women to wear men's tunic like clothing, that's it! Pants had not been "invented." At some point a mere man decided to make the rule that it is unholy and immodest for women to wear pants. The bible does not say that women can't wear pant,s but it does say that women can't wear men's tunic like clothing.

It is so very dangerous for man fo put words in God's mouth and to make their words (not God's)a salvation issue?

  • I appreciate your explanation and I TOTALLY agree with you God does not want us to dress to look like men.. However, you seem to ignore that when the Apostle Paul spoke on the subject he was't wearing pants. His apparel was similar to clothing women were wearing.

I'm not saying the Apostle Paul was wearing women's clothing, but at a distance I bet a person couldn't tell if who they were looking at was a man or a woman. You can say the same thing about pants, right?

  • @Helives111 Would you want to see a guy wearing a skirt?

We r different, so we should dress differently. There is nothing wrong with that.

And to the ones who chose to wear pants it is their choice, if they feel no conviction in it allow them to dress that way. We chose to wear skirts to set us apart, and to honor God's word

  • @angelwing821 I'm sorry but I have yet to hear scripture from someone to support your holiness rule on pants. Where in the bible does it say that a woman "honors" the Lord and "is set apart "simply by wearing dresses and skirts? It is not acceptable for men to wear dresses other than the Scottish kilt (culture and tradition).

Women however have always worn pants. They'd wear dresses, but CHANGE to wear proper apparel to go hiking, horseback riding etc. Men have never worn dresses.

  • @Helives111

PREACH!! I am a so called 'Pentacostal' woman (I prefer to be just Christian but whatever). I have been asking that question for years. Why is it so important for me to where dresses! I know why women was supposed to look like women and men like men but not dresses and skirts. I have read and read (the bible) and that's all I could find. i think Pentas. are just old school. In my book, women are allowed to wear WOMEN'S pants. That's all there is to it. Lol!

  • @angelwing82 After the ascension and the outpouring of the holy ghost and after Peter had preached that awesome sermon and explained to the people how they could be saved (Acts 2), thousands received the Lord as their personal savior and were baptized in the Name of Jesus. Then Peter had a vision, the Lord revealed to him that salvation was for everyone. What happened next is exactly the same thing that is happening today. Some of the Jews decided to make up rules for the gentiles...

  • @angelwing821 Yes, they (the Jews)said (about the gentiles), "It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses."(Acts 15) But Peter told them, "...why do you test God...?" "...through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved..." Peter went on to say that they ought to "...abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled and from blood." We honor the Lord by obeying. Obedience is better than sacrifice (1 Sam. 15). ..

  • @angelwing821 We are saved by grace not by works! We can add nothing to our salvation! I know that God wants me to dress modestly, I don't need a man to tell me that! I choose not to wear tight clothing because it is the right thing to do. It's all common sense!

Jesus had a few things to say to those who dressed different and it wasn't good. They constantly picked on Him because he ate with sinners. They followed Him to try and find fault in Him, but to no avail!

  • @Helives111 Would you want to see a guy wearing a skirt?

People disprove of men wearing girl clothes, its just not done. But women can go around dressing like men anytime they want.

We r different, so we should dress differently. There is nothing wrong with that.

And to the ones who chose to wear pants it is their choice, if they feel no conviction in it allow them to dress that way. We chose to wear skirts to set us apart, and to honor God's word.

  • @angelwing821 Many, many years ago SOCIETY decided that men would wear the pants and women the dresses. It was acceptable for women to wear pants as I stated before on special occasions, hiking, etc.but men were not to wear dresses. However, that does not change the FACT that men and women during biblical times wore the same type of apparel. Now if you want to say that's it's okay for men to wear dresses as the Apostle Paul said "if anyone wants to be contentious about this..." Apostolics and

  • themselves

  • You don't want to hear the truth "...AND THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE!" I have nothing against DRESSES OR SKIRTS I wear them too, but I am SOOO FREE, yes PRAISE GOD I'M FREE. My trust in not in man, "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes man his strength." I was baptized in the name of Jesus by a man of God many years ago I will never understand the trinitarian belief,AND I will never understand how women can stand by and allow theirselves to be deceIved by aMAN! WOMEN READ YOUR BIBLE!!

  • just tried it , it came out PERFECT <3 please do more fro hair that's still working on getting super long!

  • I love the worship and the praise you offer unto the Lord because I'm a worshipper too. I enjoy getting up very early in the morning to worship my Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST. I love to offer up my praise and worship as I play my guitar and sing to the the King of Kings, and I wear pants. I don't wear my husband's pants, shirts, socks etc. I shop for my pants, blouses, socks, etc. IN THE WOMEN'S DEPT.

  • I was raised apostolic and i did enjoy this video but i think it is absolutely ridiculous that anything that has to do with anything about pentecostal/apostolic has to turn into an argument. Seriously?? You wanna win ppl over, dont beat the religion into them or tell them why they're beliefs are wrong or why they should believe at all. LET IT SHOW THRU YOUR SPIRIT AND EVERYDAY ATTITUDE! Thats all I have to say.

  • If our Salvation rest in the length of hair or dress, then Jesus has died in vain

on Calvary. Our rightousness is filty rags in his sight. We are saved by Grace through

faith, and that not of ourselves, not of works least we should boast.

  • I'm pentecostal too and my girls don't get excited when I do their hair either. The child in the video is very well behaved and acting like most pentecostal girls do when momma does their hair.

  • A great do for the long hair boy as well

  • Shorn meaning uncut

  • im pentecostal not apostoic but its ok if u want long hair. but dont make it a law and it dont make u holier. no scripture that gives length

  • instead of acting like shes a bad person for fixing someones hair actualy pay attention to the fact that the little girl didnt say ouch or didnt try to move away because it bothered her u know what shes little she was prob just bored i was like her age 14 years ago or so and i sure acted the same way any kid would pluss she is being very gentel with her

  • instead of acting like shes a bad person for fixing someones hair actualy pay attention to the fact that the little girl didnt say ouch or didnt try to move away because it bothered her u know what shes little she was prob just bored i was like her age 14 years ago or so and i sure acted the same way any kid would

  • @frognrayne213 1 corinthians 11:15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. 16 If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice—nor do the churches of God.

  • I assure you this girl is not sad. She, like most Pentecostal girls, like having their hair done. That's the beauty of having long hair! What is sad is the comments I see on here about all things Pentecostal. BEING PENTECOSTAL IS AN EXPERIENCE NOT A RELIGION. We give ourselves the title 'Pentecostal' because we believe and preach what the Apostle's did on the Day of Pentecost in the book of Acts. The rest such as hair, dress and worship is all part of the package of living a Godly, holy life.

  • @Tipperose Paul found himself having to declare that women should not wear men's clothing for a reason. I don't shop in the men's department, just like the Apostle Paul didn't shop in the market place in the women's department. He (Paul) shopped for his tunic like apparel in the men's dept. and women shopped for their tunic like apparel in the women's dept. So where in the bible does it say that women have to wear dresses to be holy. You won't find it because it's not there!

  • @Helives111 In the bible God plainly and specifically states that a woman shouldn't dress to look like a man, nor should a man dress to look like a woman. He placed these gender roles on men and women for a reason. You don't have to like it, but it won't change God's intent. For hundreds of years women dressed modestly and covered their bodies. Only in the last 80-90 years has that changed as the spirit of rebellion was embraced and acted out by modern women wanting to take over the role of men.

  • this makes me sad.

  • Where's the covering? Looks to me like over indulgent adornment.

  • What is wrong with you people?

I'm penecostal. There isn't anything wrong with it. God is amazing=)

    Have a wonderful day.

  • @RebekahRoach God is not going to turn a child away from heaven because her hair doesn't look like a bird shat a nest on it. You people are screwing the minds of many people up with the hair.

  • @RebekahRoach amen !! god bless youu !! ♥x

  • This video makes me sleepy! By the way, Religion has nothing to do with getting into heaven or not, its us believing in God and giving him our heart and soul and our everything and obeying his commandments! Everyone has their beliefs so no one should argue with no one about what religion they call their selves, cause God sees the heart, soul, and mind not the religion!

  • im a pentecostal guy, and I agree that our apostolic women can do their hair in some of the most beautiful styles. some people getting on here making such a big deal about a video of a mom styling her daughters hair has to much time on their hands or just likes causing drama. come on people, seriously.

  • What is wrong with you people? There's nothing wrong with what they are doing! I like to come on here and see how to do my hair in different ways even though I'm not Pentecostal in the sense of long skirts, hair, etc.

They are masters of hairstyles!! LOL

Back in the day parents use to actually have time to get up and do their daughter's hair every morning. My mother always made sure we looked great for school, ate breakfast, and still worked everyday. That used to be the norm.

  • what does APOstolic mean?

  • @koolkat741

its a religion thats christian but they believe in long hair for a women's glory and skirts for modesty

  • @koolkat741 actually apolstalic means full praise we believe in like full praise to God, giving Him all of our praise, every breath, every effort everyday :)

  • Really cute :)

  • Freeze it, is amazing...

  • poor little girl she is going to have no hair left after all that abuse rolling, twisting, spraying. she is in bondage i feel sorry for her:( she is probably forced to wear her hair like that not by choice.

  • @butterflygreatone what a silly thing to say...as though putting some hair spray and pinning up your hair is worse than the perming, coloring, straightening, etc. that people do to their hair on a daily basis. oh, and she looks like she's really being tortured. LOL

  • @lopezs0877 yes she looks like it is bothering her.she is too young to have her hair being teased ,yanked with the brush and over sprayed.oh and the above things i don't do to my hair

  • Hairspray happy!!! I love this! Thank you so much for posting it! I can't wait to try it out! God Bless!!

  • The lovely litle girl is breathing in all that toxic hairspray. Two long braids would be far better.

  • @Imogen1885 yeah i agree with you plus that little girl looks so unhappy too

  • please don't anyone smoke or hold a candle near this poor girl's head!

  • I heard that apostolics/Pentecostals aren't allowed to cut their hair, and well this hairstyle on someone so young is REALLY damaging it. It is Very pretty though :)

  • @XxChikanaAngelxX it's not that we aren't "allowed" to cut our hair. It comes from Cornthians in the bible where it talks about a womans hair being her glory. Women chose not to cut their hair as a way to honor God. Many people think it is wrong to cut your hair if you are a lady, but in all honesty you can do whatever you want bc God gave us all free will.

  • Nice style, but way to old for a young girl

  • I love watching these hairstyles. I wish I could do my hair like that but I am no good at it.

To bad people like to be nasty and make rude coments about being Apostolic.

  • poor kid.I hate organzied religion with a great passion

  • @rockking05 We don't have to live this way.. it's a choice, and its not "organized" as a sense of just following what the bible says to do..

  • Comment removed

  • That's really pretty! I think I might even try it tomorrow night. :)

  • I never knew that any religion had a special hairstyle.

  • @CatpurrRobertaBobbi its not a special hair style well kinda but anyone can wear it lol:)

  • Comment removed

  • i looove this hairspray! like da puff!!

  • Love the front and side! Beautiful.

  • Yeah...they have the best clothes at the Goodwill just gotta look!

  • What hairspray do you use??

  • You Are Amazing!!!

  • I dont see why people keep saying too much hairspray. I use way more and my hair is fine! :)

  • @DiyaBabyee It may look like it, but it's not hurting her hair. I'm not apostolic, but my daughter has waist length hair and I always put a LOT of hairspray in it when I'm fixing it in cute styles. The only way to get hair like this to stay in place is to use tons of hairspray. And for what it's worth, my daughter has gorgeous hair - not unhealthy or damaged at all. The little girl in this video has beautiful hair too.

  • Love the hairdo! Hairspray IS a girl's weapon of choice. How easy is it to do it on yourself?

  • this is really cutee....i love all ur hairstyles there really cutee i try to do some of ur hairstyles on me n my sisters but most of ur hairstyles aint 4 curly hair so idk how i could do mine

  • I love this=) Whilst I am not apostolic or Pentcostal, I dohve very long hair, and these styles save m frm doing the same plait to my waits every day =D Thankyou.

  • muy bonito

  • a lot of hairspray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    weird!!

  • Freeze It hairspay!! Love it!!!!

  • Very nice!

  • OMG. No more hairspray please!

  • Do you know if you're related to an H.A. Goss that was a popular pentecostal preacher in the early 1900's? If you are I found some old old pics of him and my great grandfather.

  • would this also work for people with bangs because i se you using her normal hairwhen you do the front part..??

  • you also dont see many girls with this long of hair. most of the girls that wear these styles have hair up to their waist and even up to their bottoms. some of these hairstyles you cannot do with medium length hair.

  • My nose hurts from the hairspray! Cute hairdo though.

  • aha niice :P

  • miranda left :( ......

    LOL

  • I would definitely not use so much hair spray on my hair - not to mention a kid's!

  • @pinkdipi The hair won't hold all the way through a holy ghost filled service without that much hairspray lol :)

  • hoooooly toast! that is a lot of hairspray.. nice hairstyle tho..

  • Hi Abby!! i love your hair-do's! KUDOS and to respond to the comment about being catholic or non christian- anyone can have/use/do- anyones hair like this. We just call it Apostolic/Pentecostal because we(In thefaith) usually tend to have longer hair than most girls and need a way to put it up...it gets tiring and damaging just by curling it..hence creating hairstyles to keep it up! hope it helps! God Bless

  • Oh my goodness, at 2:58 a woman was raptured!

Great job at a quick and beautiful style.

  • its cute.. i love it sis...

  • i love this hair style...GOOD JOB...Us sisters have to stick together...lol...

  • Oh and btw, I love your hairstyles! I normally learn all of my styles from The UPC Church Camp in Fortville, IN, but it's nice to see other ones! Thanks!

  • We say it as "Apostolic Hair" because you normally don't see anyone else wearing their hair as this. And it doesn't mean that if you aren't Apostolic then you can't wear it. Of course you can! It's just that normally you don't really see it on anyone else!

  • I am "Holiness" not pentacostal..wesleyan methodist holiness...and Ive never cut my hair..I think we believe the same as you do on that. To get it out of the way we do creative hairstyles. :)

  • what is "holiness" or methodist holiness???

  • @norray19 "Holiness" is a term that is used when people live a "Holy" life for God. This usually means that they do not participate in things that do not glorify God. USUALLY, people who live this way do not drink alcohol, go to clubs, curse, or etc. Also, women who want to live a "holy" life for God usually do not wear pants, a lot of make-up, or cut their hair because they, we, see it as submission to God. Ref. 1. Cor. in the bible

  • @kute1livn4jc sorry but no makeup at all

  • @13jesusismylord

Really just depends on the person...yes, preachers preach against it, but still different people hold different convictions. I wear concealer, foundation, and powder to even out my skin.

  • @norray19 Also, we know there arepeople who do not participate in a strong holiness standpoint. I believe if people are doing their best to serve God the best way the know how, that's what really matters! All kind of people will be in heaven regardless of the way they look. God loves us all no matter what. Holiness is also just a "Personal Standard" that many people uphold. Hope this helps. We love all people regardless of how they look!

  • @norray19 and...I don't know what "Methodist Holiness" is. I assume it's a Methodist church who believes in living the way I described. There are a lot of churches who teach holiness other than Pentecostal.

  • @kute1livn4jc oh yeah i kno that lol :D i jus thought it was some knew term i nevva heard of before or something lol :D

  • Im Catholic...Can I wear my hair this way?
