  • Thanks friend great vid!

  • Thank You, informative and interesting.

  • I was thinking one thing you could do is not eat out of the bag add the beef stew to a pot of water and bring a little flour with you for a thickener it would not be so runny.

  • Love the custom stove, you should sell those.

  • @mahuiki he does... minibulldesign.cum

  • @minibulldesign do you know why you cant freeze dry fat, I cant find out why just wondering if you know.

  • @H3LLSMAN Fats are chemically unstable even with moisture removed, especially unsaturated fats. The molecules will bond to other molecules causing rancidity. Proteins and carbs on the other hand do not provide the things needed for spoilage to occur when there is no moisture.

  • @jasoncozad Thanks

  • It looks a little watery... not very stewish but pretty water'd down. Also interested in your response to MazimumDensity1's post.

  • You're the man..appreciate these reviews.

  • it was really salty to me

  • I love your cooking reviews Tinny! Hope you'll do some more baking on your bongo stove!

  • it looks too watery too me

  • Good, honest review. I gave it an 8 myself. I use one of the old Nion 2's and cook right in the pot, Mix a little Bisquick and squirt on top as it's heating up for a big old dumpling, adds a little filler and tasty too. Good vids, Thanks.

  • wow your cool thx for these vids!!

  • For those with allergen go to their site there is a list of every thing that is in there products and not one of them has MSG. there is NO MSG in any Mountain House Foods

  • MH makes just about the best store bought foods, however if you have a dehydrator and a food saver you can make way better foods for a hell of a lot cheaper. And in todays economy, every little bit helps.

  • Looks more like soup, than stew. But it is good.

  • Bongo with internal reservoir, external refill and integrated pot stand... VERY NICE! (it belongs in the store?)

MH Beef Stew... that's pretty good too.

I agree with the comment on your homemade recipes vs store bought to save money.

  • lovely flame and potstand tinny!

  • so do any of those meals have msg in them??

  • subiemon.....why are you allergic to it? My sister is in med school...so dont try to tell me its bad for you...ok unless you are allegic to it stfu

  • well it triggers migranes bad ones and yes i have been medically diagnosed by a doctor as being allergic to msg and it variants and caffiene!

  • Good to know man. I've got some beef stew I haven't tried yet. So I'll see for my self. :o)

  • tinny, you allways say you are "on the trail" but why do you need to hike? for fun or what?

  • why listen to music, watch movies or play ps3? because you enjoy doing it. hiking is a hobby like anything else, and it keeps you active.

  • Are you serious?

  • look at some of his videos were he walks outside, he lives pretty much in/next to a forest

  • but why does he need to go on hikes? does he trap his food and needt to hike long ways to check the traps? i hike all the time, but i can give a legitamate reason i need to hike miles into the wilderness.

  • maybe he enjoys hiking....?

  • in real life you dont have to prove your legitimacy to random strangers, only on youtube.

  • what's youtube?

  • I reckon he enjoys it, I hike, without the intention of checking traps.

  • How would you rate buying the meals vs making your own? In regards to: Taste, Cost, and Variety.

  • lol I don't know how you only eat half a pack. I usually eat 2 of those things lol

  • As you get older, your metabolism slows down. I found that I you didnt need as much food or sleep once I past 40.

It's kind of hard to get used to but if you don't reduce calorie intake AND increase activity your weight can sneak up on you very easily!

It also seems that added weight is harder to get rid of when youre middle-age because you are slower to recover from exercise and more prone to injury. Your joints hurt more too... :(

  • Good review.
