  • This song won't just your house of emo's but probably rid it of carpet beetles, wood worm, burglars, and pretty much anything else that gets irritated by sugary overly happly lovey dovey crap....Never been a fan of hippies or communes...

There's something to be said for spontaneous diatonic joy.

  • Can Imagine this narrating a good lsd trip.

  • good point, chronic does make me this happy

  • it's impossible not to wear a grin while watching this video.

  • @xmyotheraccountx Oh, it's possible. I thought it sucked. In fact, I searched for it just now, just because I wanted to remind myself of how much I thought it sucked when it first arrived.

  • Sainsbury's advert music

  • serious question: what makes people this happy ? when i hear a song i usually see myself as part of the song but this song its just such a happy song. its indescribable. but really what can make me this happy? and please no stupid answers.

  • @gingermanboy Peace within yourself, forgiveness of the past, determination for the future.

  • @gingermanboy The simple and pure joy in life... 'nuff said.

  • @gingermanboy no lie man, I think it just lots and lots of pot that made them happy.

  • @UndeadShaggyDoo who even needs pot when you have music like this soaring through you?

  • @csukscari morer like shrooming it up

  • @gingermanboy i agree with undead its prob just a lot of pot it makes most people happy as fuck

  • scrubs :)

  • this version doesn't have percussion other than the timpanis? interesting.

  • i love the band, their music.

I just wonder how much weed, and shrooms they consume in week..?

or during their videos shoot outs.. or playing live.

  • love this song

  • warum auch immer, aber wir lieben es........

  • so do they serve Kool-Aid during, or after their concerts?

  • sainsburys???

  • I'm emo and I fucking love this song so shut the fuck up all of you!

  • @yourdefense23154 never, ever be proud of being emo.

  • @yourdefense23154 , you know your not really emo and just a "posser thats confused about their sexuality" if you call your self emo

  • lol this song sticks the middle finger at all emos. good.

lol this is like some music video the artist made when he was high lewl

  • I say throw away all those brain numbing/rotting anti-depression and anti-anxiety pills and just lock your angsty teen into a room with this song playing over and over again.

  • Cult or not I wish I was half as happy as they are! I take my hat off to them.

  • this is a sirious question... are those guys just loving life or are they on acid?

  • @zwirbelwirbel either way... they're doing it right...

  • @zwirbelwirbel definitely on ACID :)

  • @zwirbelwirbel probably both. :p

  • @zwirbelwirbel

    whats the difference :3

  • @zwirbelwirbel the lead singer used to be in a band called Tripping Daisy when young...they were all extremely close to one another and had known each other from childhood...one of the band members died and they were all devastated and vowed to never play again, after recluse for many years he started this band to praise life, the universe etc

  • @slovakmath thanks! i knew he looked familiar but just couldn't place him...

  • Is it just me, or do these guys look like a crazy cult?

  • Apparently this is a common reaction - as the wiki article for the band notes. Apparently they opted for the robes (and later uniforms) because the lead singer (formerly of Tripping Daisy) thought that many people in random street clothes would be distracting.

  • @brutuscassius1 It's not just the robes that make them look like a cult. It's that, and the fact that they look way too happy.

  • great song and video

  • PEDAL SONG

  • hmmm ..im coming back to this next time im stoned x

  • Now I know what heaven looks and sounds like...and I'm not even dead!

  • Sainsbury's!

  • It looks like an epic dream I once had.

    It feels like heaven.

It makes me think I might not be as crazy as once written... It's a beautiful gift I've only just discovered and am yet to bring to reality.

Basically, the song/video rocks my house to it's foundations... I can't believe I'm only finding it now, like a newborn :)

    xx

  • Reminds me of an old crappy coca-cola commercial from way back god knows when.

I don't just mean the pictures - the song also.

It's a pile of tits made to make money and contribute nothing.

  • pretty trippy

  • i think that the best version of this song would start out like this, but then at 1:34, it cuts back into the original version with drums and stuff. If it did that, I would smile even more =)

  • they arn not religious just an up beet the robes are just to show purity so there is no one standing out from one another the colors were added at the bottom later on they are just up beet spreading cheer

  • Gah jesus, that's just too much happy.

  • love the song=D but dont like the reason they r religious:L

  • are they religious, just wondering, cause it says on wiki that the nature of their music and the white robes give people the impression they're religious, Are they?

  • no sir they are not

  • that sucks

  • So you dislike things that are religious? How enlightened.

  • well things would be better without it so yeh:S:L

  • Yes, I do wish that we still lived in the Dark Ages. I totally agree that we should be completely without religion.

    /sarcasm

  • @LordRahl86 life without religion...sounds great. Our technology would be more advanced and there would be less judgmental people and arguments between religious people among themselves and atheists

  • @ProfessorPwner right. does family guy tell you how to eat too?

i dis agree, no matter the sourcer of your argument. PEOPLE NEED PURPOSE.

    religion gives them that purpose.

  • i liked the version on scrubs

  • Playing this song in your home will rid it of emos...

  • I may have to play this on the loud speakers at school...

  • @jetboy33 - IT WORKED DAMN IT!!!!

  • @jetboy33 lmao!!

  • @jetboy33 8 emos disliked this video

  • It's such a wonderful song and with such a thrilling vibe! I love it.

  • The Very Best version of this song on YT

  • You can't help but feel happy when you see and hear these guys.

  • I saw this for the 1st time on a "hefty" dose of LSD. People don't realize how good this band really is. They make people want to be better and happier people.

  • best video ever!

  • I think I got high just watching this...

  • Comment removed

  • love it

  • this is awesome but i dont get it

"You don't see me flyin to the red

    One more you're nuts"

  • i think (and since im me, i might be totally wrong) that flying to the red might mean flying of the handle in anger or something, and if "one more" bad thing happens, youre nuts! lol

  • lovin it!im irish,i have an excuse!

  • this song is like emo repellent

  • lmao

  • hahahaha... it's undepressed song... XDD

  • hahahaha so funny and true yeah lol awsome song

    I love it!

  • where can i join this Cult?

  • I luv Sainsburys!

  • I LOVE this song!! and yes it was on SCRUBS cus SCRUBS has awesome music!! LOVE SCRUBS and SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCED just used it=)

  • Nice song but they look as if they were all castrated and about to drink the special koolaid. D:

  • LOL true XD

  • Ive seen them live twice, takes about 72 hours to get the grin off your face!

    Brilliant brilliant brilliant!

  • It would be awesome if DeLaughter would pair up the Spree with his old band, Tripping Daisy. What a glorious racket that would be....

  • ya, they had this at the end of a scrubs episode right?

  • just out of curiosity, why do they wear white dresses?

  • at this point, only they know for sure. i think its because its attention grabbing though.

  • Not true. The band wheres white robes so you are not distracted by various street clothes, and focus on whats really importntant, the brilliant music! Go see them live, you get over it pretty quick.

  • the guys wear robes actually, there is a difference, and its their look.

  • they scare me a little

  • a great song from Polyphonic Spree ^^

    5*

  • wow, an angel is reading this at the same time as me

  • but is he the singer of this band? beacause i saw him in scrubs too..i thought he was just an actor

  • No i think it was the singer of this band :P And i think it's pretty cool that such a band played there.

  • The band had a cameo on the show. The guy in the bed was the actor. :)

  • Sounds like Bowie at the start

  • it's a beautiful song

  • it ´s a great song! It makes me happy!

  • i wounder if these guy like kool-aid

  • kinda trippy! i love the song, they sound great, its just... the backroud is so distracting!

  • This was an earlier, artistic chapter of The Snuggly Cult's quest for world domination.

  • haha i was wondering if this was a real song after scrubs

  • it's on the sainsburys advert lol.

  • This cult sings a very melodious tune. I wouldn't join it for simply that reason, but the song really does make you feel better.

  • Its a great song they harmonize all their voices just right. There is very little other music throughout the song.

  • Is there at least a reason as to why they decided to dress like a cult?

  • I have nothing agains them, though. Music is music. It's just that these guys remind me of the group "Bright and Shiny" from the movie Bubble Boy.

  • HAHAHAHAHA YES. All white. Everyones name is Todd hahaha

  • happy holy hippy hipsters....a universe of natural wonder, peace and perfect cosmic love...hare hare rama rama...DUDE!!!

  • lmfao

  • This version just doesnt have the power

  • its cuz they took out the drum set. the timpani and sus. cym. are still there, but it doesn't carry cuz there's no set :(

  • I don't think this video does this song justice...

  • I agree with ya 100%

  • I love this song!!! But I have never heard of this band until I watched scrubs :)

  • same here i love them now

  • Trippin on acid just watching this!

  • is this Sainsburys song?

  • Yup its also on the end of a scrubs song

  • SCRUBS :)

  • Chill man. I thought that this song was meant to calm you!

P.S - I'm not saying the song is bad by implying that the band is on crack.

  • The video is a little too "up with people" for my taste, but still a great song!! It's nice to hear a song that just makes you feel good. Especially when most popular music is sung in minor keys and the lyrics are whiny and full of self pity.

  • sorry but i dont like this cuz its just Toooooooooo much inocent for me so i better not watch this to the end.

    aach

  • trippy

  • lol

  • Yeah, im more of a metal guy but this song is just plain awsome

  • +1 except i'm a rock man

  • really a great song!!!
