But any way it is cool that you embrace this heavier music. Rush too is my favorite band but I do like some heavy stuff. Great video. Been playing bass for a # of years but this one I have been having a hard time with. You sound spot on- you play by ear or tabs? because the tabs online are horrendous. I was able to get it down pretty good and try out with my band. Thanks so much!

I really love this cover and your STP covers. How do you get your bass to sound so punchy and cut thru so well? So many bass sounds I hear sound flabby and muddy, like not enough pick attack or something

Thanks. I think my sound is clear because I play at a very low volume and place an external microphone just a few inches away from my amp (a small guitar practice amp with a 5" speaker) and my computer speakers. I think many people use large amps, play too loud, and too far away from the microphone/camera.
