I don't like to apply them ith my fingers, I use the CHANEL cream shadow brush. They are amazing to me! Beautiful colors, and really long lasting! My lids are prety oily and these shadows don't run. I LOVE them, they were a great investment!!!
I love these new Chanel Cream Shadows they work Perfect for me. I ended up getting all 6 of them. First I got 2 then 2more then I had to have the other 2 Long wearing and awesome!!
I don't think you can compare this product to other cream eyeshadows, because its unique texture. I think it wouldnt work well as an eyeshadow base, and I dont think its meant to be used as a base. On its own, the product is great,it really lasts all day without creasing, and no primer (And I have super oily lids). But it just doenst allow other types of eyeshadow to really stick to it. The pigmentation is nice, but you kinda have to pack it on to get the color as it appears in the pot.
I have the Epatant (gold) and the Emerveille (pinky beige - which I believe is being reviewed here). The Epatant is definitely very different in consistency compared to the Emerveille. I haven't used MAC's but I use Bobbi Brown's; the Chanel gold goes on just the same! I don't like to feel my makeup on my face. But the Emerveille is definitely much more sheer than the Epatant. I strongly suggest trying out each at the counter. She's wrong about pigment - she hasn't tried more than one.
@JazzCat2234 Actually I have tried more than one- but decided on this one because I was not gonna get much use from the others. And based on how it wore on me I would still say that you DO NOT get the pigmentation as is seen on the pot- w/o having to work the product a few times. Obviously- heavier pigmented ones will swatch with more coloration - I still find that for the price- it did not meet my expectations for opaqueness :) Estee Lauder Double Wear Cream shadows even better.
I have several color of this and I love them. I think that a different color would be better for a review. I would never use them for a base. I love to use the brush it comes with. It grabs the product very well and helps blending. Lasts from early morning until late at night. It never budged on me.
I have two different shades in it... and i happen to really like it. The one closet to white I have and Its a good highlight and also the dark purple shade. The only thing I don't really like is that it has almost too much glitter..

Nice review, I totally agree, awful product. it is very "flimsy", due to the silicone it has in it. Really unsuitable to use as a shadow base

I use another shadow and then use this to add a little something in the crease or lid.
