Zambidis was not ready for this fight, especially after his injure, but no excuses, in this game, Parr was by far better!!! He won fairly (oppossite than Petrosyan that needed his manages pay the ref's for the decision). Congratulations to Parr! Too bad we did not see the ''Hell of a match'' we were expecting from these two great athletes! Zambidis is long time now, he is not anymore so serious as also old enough, that he has to quit, now he is known as one of the best!

I knew he was going to get owned after the W5 tournament.He was not impressive at all and almost lost to Enriko Gogokhia( lol) in fact he SHOULD have lost and their never should have been a extra round..Then he fought Askerov in the final (He is tough but not a skilled fighter and has gotten destroyed against the elite guys) and it was extremely close.

In general i dont hate muslims but in the ring, different emotions come to the surface, calls from our ancestral past and the wars we had with every single nation that decided to move towards the west. I respect good fighters and so should u. enjoy the tension and fight with honor cause in th epast years i cant find any battle that the Greeks were more than the Eastern foe. Zambidis is famous in Greece because of his fights with the turks.

@Kuopioboy The only reason Zambo won over Gogokhia is because he was the big name k1 fighter and the judges gave him the extra round...If it was just a regular fight and they had not been grooming their "big name" Zambo to win then Gogokhia would have took the fight..Bull shit judging!

Zambo is past his prime...Through I give him props...He is still a good fighter and he always fights his heart out unlike overrated Bumkaw.

@Kuopioboy More like he got lucky he faced an injured Petrosyan...and he still couldn't beat him..A healthy Petrosyan will pwn him in the rematch...Just look at what both have done after their fight...Zambo beat Gunyar( and looked good) then looked bad against askerov and gogokhia and then got schooled by JWP.

Petrosyan has beaten Sudsakorn Klinmee, Cosmo Alexandre, was easily beating Chahid until the unlucky groin strike no contest.. and then just this past Sunday dominated Hinata Watanabe.

I'm Greek, and I think JWP is an awesome fighter. He also has (and shows) MUCH respect to Zambidis which says enough about his character. Props to him for taking up the challenge again. Both fighters have heart, and that will result to one MOTHER(!) of a fight. As for JWP not fighting in Greece. Well, there are over 140,000 Greeks residing in Melbourne so I'm sure Zambidis won't feel left out. Good luck to both fighters. May the best man win!!
