If you do WUBI to install UBUTNU 8.10 (Newest release) just goto add/remove. Its called compiz. Also you can get screenlets, AWN manager and emerald and a bunch of other stuff. I dont know about 8.04, never used it. Do some searching on the internet, you will come across it.
well ever since that comment....9 months ago, my pc has been upgraded. lol It can do some of the things now...just not everything at once. I still need a faster processor and maybe a bit more ram
Thanks man. Well, it would be hard to give you just one URL. i guess it depends on what are you running on your computer. If you are running vista or xp i suggest you to look up wubi. wibi is an windows base installer for ubuntu. it installs ubuntu as if it were a regular program. that will give you the chance to check out the operating system and see if all your hardware is compatible. feel free to ask me anything, i'm not exactly an expert but i think i might be able to give yo some pointers.
