Yeah I heard about that little girl on the Discovery Health Channel. Her legs are split apart now and the proceudre to split them took about 5-6 hours. She's now living a normal life. =)

birth defect, its is so weird that people mistake, medical birth defects with mythic animals. All of us want them to exist but to tell the truth, we don't know. there have been a number of research on this subject but no traces were found. please don't tell people to believe in mythical animals because there is always a logical explanation for everything.

Mermaids Do exist I've seen some I know someone who is a Mermaid. They are Real!!!!!!!! That baby was just born like that. It's called Mermaid Syndrome! It's not common But it's real. I've seen babys like that too! Also This baby is from Peru, I've heard about it. And She had Surgery in 2005 and is fine now! Mermaids Do exist! Don't say they don't and Don't say they use to!

Well, if you watched the documentary on this baby it was titled "MERMAID Baby". Her own parents, who are from Mexico, thought that she was the result of a curse. There's a lake in Mexico, or a river.. not too sure.. a body of water called like Mermade Lake or some crap. It is believed that if a woman who is pregnant goes to the lake, they will give birth to a mermaid baby - supposedly there is a mermaid there. There's more to the story. I watched the doc. a long time ago.

hey the baby was born with an illness called the 'mermaid sydrome' it said on the news and they already did a successful operation on her now her legs are seperated because when she was born her legs were fused together so she would have died but the operation saved her life and 'sweetchoco98' it isnt photoshopped its real not fake
