I mean holy cow this makes Lord of the Rings look like it was writen by a 9 year old. As for orgase the artist of that pic must have went for the Queen of Hearts look from Alice. Very nice work. Only thing I could fault was Egwene not having blonde hair, but the pictures really captured a lot of the characters. I really liked the depictions of Min and Logain, spot on. Would loved to have seen Verin included, she is one of the most interesting and underrated characters in the story.

Their mother was the daughter heir of andor who left a "child she loved and a husband she despised" behind to fufill a propehsy(?) to become a maiden where she fell in love with Rand's blood father. The rest you know, she went to war died on hill giving birth yadayadayada...
While a lot of these aren't how I imagined them, I like most of these a hell of a lot more than the official art. Everyone looks so plain and boring there...at least your versions have style. Nice work.
interesting interpretation of these characters. Very modern. I prefer the old cover art or maybe a conan style (as robert jordan started writing conan). but I enjoyed it. What is everyone else's problem with the cover art? That is what Jordan chose.
I like video even if the characters aren't how I pictured them in my head, the artist still came pretty close. You know the only character lacking is Padan Fain. I would have wanted to see how artist imagined that character.

I play the phone app rpg Age of Legends which i've heard was based on this story. I don't know much about the story but I love that game so I'm trying to get into it. Can somebody give me a rundown of the plot and tell me where I can find a copy of the story 'The Wheel of Time'?

The only thing which really annoys me is matt....The Ashandarei(I think thats the spelling -.-) Is shown on the cover of one of the books, and that looks...nothing like it. Idk, I know that everyone has their imagination, but when they say that ravens are on the blade(Being of black in color) you cannot really see them on a black blade(Even described as a shiny material in the book)...Sorry, Matt is and always will be my favorite character so it does annoy me a little bit. Nice pics though. :D

Man, these drawing are AWESOME! 75% of the characters have Exactly the same features as I imagined!: Most of the character didn't even have a real face in my head, just a ghostly look like these ones.

@MysteryEK Well, since Brandon Sanderson takes over for the last 3 books it gets a bit weird. Robert jordan left notes & everything. Practically writing it all with just the notes but never put it to paper. So I heard. Anyways the time lapses get more obivious. Meaning you know that one character is behind in the timeline compared to the others. Also in my opinion it gets interesting but for some odd reason I have a feeling that Sanderson is making the ending how he wants. Not how jordan wants.
im a little over half way through reading The Great Hunt and im in love with this series already! What i don't understand in all of the videos ive looked at is why every female character is overly volumptious (not complaining) and every male character is rogue-ishly handsome? I REALLY have to disagree with the pic of Rand.
1, he was born to an Aiel maiden. He should be TALL red-headed & look like an Aielman.
2, he's a rugged farmboy, used to loads of hard work.
3, being expert with a 3-Rivers longbow, his arms should be well-developed.
4, after years learning the sword, working the forms, shoulders shouldbe HUGE

What i don't understand in all of the videos ive looked at is why every female character is overly volumptious (not complaining) and every male character is rogue-ishly handsome? Lets be honest, not everyone can be drop dead beautiful! then again its a fantasy series so why not?

Ok, I have many things to say, but first. Awesome. Second. Lan...Sorry to say, looks a wee big "Bigger" Than I thought. I was thinking more of the Rand style body...Same goes for Tam. Considering he is portrayed as skinnyish. Also, who else here is jealous of rand after seeing those pictures of the three? Hell, I know I am. *Mutters* Lucky bastard Ta'veren. XD Also, I imagined Taim's hair shorter. Oh, and anyone else notice Lanfear's right boob? A bit saggy...I know. Im picky, but I am a fan. :P

@MysteryEK HAHAHA!...Not laughing at you, but I have finished all the books cept the one yet to come out. I will say this. Remember these pictures....Remember what they look like, and just....Just wait until the 13th book...Cause...*Laughs to self* Still cannot believe it, but you will laugh. Just a for warning. Or at least a jaw drop. XD

the way you depicted moirane and logain was exactly the way i pictured them. but i always thought egwene had a little bit shorter hair and very very wavy almost like Elaynes, but when i look around everyone depicts egween with long strait hair o.O where did i go wrong?!!

@zapemaster As far as I know you did not. I always imagined her with wavy hair as well. Maybe shoulder length, but definitely not THAT long.
