Introduction to Anime Studio Debut 8

Erm ive been searching the internet to no avail. so could someone please tell me firstly what is the difference between the animation naruto uses for the normal scenes and the animation it uses for scenes like kakashi vs kakuza. because there is an obvious difference but for some reason they only use the kakshi vs kakuza type animation for like one episode of some fights. it's kinda crap because it means all the other fights look dreadful in comparison

@macintosh39 oh course there is!! You just have to create a bone layer first and drag all of your layers into the bone layer.Then You'll find the add bone tool!

wow you talk fast and use words that are foreign to me.... guess you gotta have some knowledge or have taken a course on this subject to really get it. i bought the program because it sounded fun but its looking just as confusing and complicated as a basic attempt at adobe cs5.

im having trouble getting it to fill my drawing that it traced. Once the red lines go away I have all these greenish blue ones and it still won't fill. do you know why?

i was thinking about this for christmas, do you have to use that character wizard? Or can u create your own characters, and upload all view points, mouth movements, and eye movements and animate from there or no?

I was working in the quick start today. Page 29-30. Where do I find Frank? Page 29 says File>Import>Anime Studio Object. Then locate the Tutorials/1 - Basic folder. I can not find it to find frank. Thanks

yea how do you stop the character from moving?

@TheNickbrady23 This symbolizes that the character will loop whatever the red line is over, in this case it is him/her walking. To disable this you have to delete the arrows at the end of the line, this should make it so that the red line goes away. BUT, you character will only walk for about 2 seconds now, to make him/her walk for a longer time you have to copy the remaining dot EXEPT for the first one, and then paste it were you want him/her to walk. Then when you want them to stop copy and

1 more question, can i interact with the backgrounds? (example the vase in the living room background) and can i add music?

@TheNickbrady23 Yes you can interact with backgrounds by making the "vase" (used in your example) in a different layer so you can move it. I believe that you can add music although I dont know for sure because I have not yet tried....

When i use character wizard and i try to make the character start and then stop, the character stops but the feet continue to move... does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks!

@TheNickbrady23 Yes i did find out. The way you fix it is by clicking on your character, clicking the arrow next to the name of you layer that you just clicked on so it shows you the details of the characters, then click what position your character is facing you (for example if you character is facing towards you click the front layer), then after that under the timeline you will see some dots with a red line over it and at the end there will be some arrows. (ill this in the next response)

i have debut 7 and i have had it for a long time now and have given up on it. i have watched many videos on useing bones and everything but it will not work. i wish to draw my own characters but i cant do that till i figure it out with the presetss and it wont work. i need step by step directions on creating bones.
