Hey, I like round numbers in our 10 base counting system. I grabbed my camera and took a picture of my odometer when my old bird rolled over to 100,000!
Many Population Biologists claim that they don't think the Earth can carry over 10 billion. The density dependent factors would be seriously in play with this number with the current tech we have for Ag. If we changed diets to strict veggie, that would help us be more efficient but the many other factors would be growth limiting. I guess we could line up a cull program!!! :)
What do you see as the best course of action to control "The population Bomb" (The increase in the worlds population of 145 per minute)? Would you agree that unabated the worlds population would reach 9 billion on or around 2050? Is it possible for our planet to sustain that level of life given our exploitation or the environment, reduction of natural habitats and over mining? Tough questions I know but I value your opinion.
