FYI, Van Damme didn't do Expendables because of his ego. If he isn't the "star" of the film he usually wants nothing to do with it. He has been like that since the 80's and it's just the way it is. Granted if his ego wasn't so big god knows how much more successful he would have been.

Van Damme said if he knew what it was he would have done it. 2ndly, he was filming multiple movies of his own plus a reality program. He was also training & promoting his upcoming fight against a Thai boxer.
