  • Intangible *and* tangible qualities keep me coming back to this over and over.

    Stunning work.

  • @curiousgeorge555 This song took some time to "finish", but then, it keeps going on and on. People talk of testimonies, well, this is the on going testimony of what it is to follow Christ "after conversion" for me. The continuing journey...where weaving every morning new is quite literal, and what others tell you to expect(not to mention what THEY expect) doesn't quite live up to expectations...thankfully. I'm coming to see that following Jesus is quite an adventure after all...Thanks Jack :)

  • @curiousgeorge555 ...continued: The line "...but to who"?, now *that* is the question, rhetorical.

I am thankful that His Mercies are new every morning. Thanks for the inspired and inspiring song Michael.

  • @reliablebow "there was nothing i would not do for you after that moment then i awoke forgot about those things that we had spoke of did i go off on my own" This line speaks volumes. It seems so strange (to me) that this is possible. We get a glimpse, beyond unspeakable beautiful, of The Eternal One. Than before a matter of moments or hours or yesterdays we are looking in other places... "i" becomes "I" *or* it becomes IT *or* the place to find light appears to be in a gutter...

  • @curiousgeorge555 Most days, Romans 7 is my favorite scripture, for I know it well, personally, and share with Paul his cry...'Who will save me from this body of death!?"...ahhh, but then, the Answer:) Selah...

  • Very well written and played my friend. Love that the recording sounds like a record player. 5*

  • hi Michael, some songs set a powerful mood from the music, words and voice.. this is one of them. for some reason, it reminds me of Tim Buckley's wonderful Song to the Siren.. that same sort of sad beauty, well done

  • This is a really nice song with interesting lyrics. I love the grainy sound too. It sounds like a vinyl record and with the vulnerable quality in your voice it sets a beautiful mood. You had me captivated the whole way through :)

  • What I love most about your style, I guess, is that you are subtle. Wonderful that Rick asks you who you sang that song for... you give room for own feelings and thoughts.

  • Quintessential Michael here. Great story, soft melody, intimate vocals, insightful lyrics, creative melodic movements.

Loe when the song gets "stuck" around 2:30. Great way to build dissonance and discomfort while keeping the tone low and smooth.

  • Thank You Justin....:)
