chrisjones twice - This happens many times daily with fishing boats on Hastings beach. A tractor or a stationary engine will haul the fishing boat from the water up on to the beach, away from the incoming tide and up to the net houses where the fishing nets are hung to dry.
Hello chrisjones twice, I asked this "bloke down the pub" your question, he stated that Black Holes are where the EU have sent thousands of fishing boats, putting many fisherman on the dole, also is where the many tons of good fish that are dumped back in the sea. As I didn't know the answer to your question I can't personally take any credit for this answer.
@chrisjoneschrisjones Simple answer. The title is very misleading. It isn't "crashing" into the beach. This is how they come ashore.
The boat comes to land then a line is fixed to the bow and planks of wood are put down in front of the boat.
Then the boat is hauled up the beach by a tractor type of vehicle. As it rides over the planks they appear at the stern they are picked up and placed in front again. Until the boat is safely ashore and will not be affected by the tides. Hope this helps.

Why the dislikes? A trawler indeed crashed onto a beach. Granted there were no explosions but still.....
