@jitteli It makes no difference if the mike is upside down or up, the main thing is the front (where the light is) should point towards your throat, there is a youtube video that explains the mike positioning more fully..

Hmm, watched a few reviews of this mic, and for similar money you can get an Editors Keys SL150, which has better sound quality (to me at least, and it even comes with it's own shock mount).

@doubledee242 it doesn't really matter as long as the included mount or the separate SP01 shock mount fits on the stand. Any normal mic stand should work, try the "ProLine" brand at GuitarCenter, I have one of those and it fits

It is making that noise because condenser Mic's send out an electric field around the base of the mic to amplify the audio.

@yaddayadda98yo My uncle gave it to me, but now I got a new one from ProLine, you can find it at Guitar Center, it's good for rappers, and there is also a ProLine desk stand for podcasters :)

@dasuperherosman It's Called A Pop Filter Or A Wind Screen, it Stops The Pss, Sss, And Other Noises When You Talk Into The Mic, Like When U Hear Heavy Breathing That Sounds That Sound Kinda Like Your Blowing Into The Mic, it Stops That From Happening

@dasuperherosman it only comes with a little tripod that kinda sucks and just falls from the weigh of the mic, they sell a separate one that i have called the samson MD5 and that one is made for the mic and it's real heavy so the mic won't fall :) u don't needa help me lol , it's fine :)

@dasuperherosman its a pop filter, it blocks air blasting right into the microphone. Thus avoiding loud "p" pops and "s" air blasts and it gives you an consistent distance from the microphone
