That's interesting. Is it a colpitts or a Clapp oscillator? Or a Hartley? Would I be able to adapt it to 10MHz?Are you willing to share the schematic?

Some people seem to have trouble with VFOs and Xtal osc's.

I have done quite a bit of experimentation with VFOs and many designs on the net didn't perform well.

In the end I achieved a VFO with exceptional stability and spectral purity.

Not only do you need a good design, but your workmanship must be 200‰.

There is no room for sloppy building when it comes to VFOs thats for sure.
