They are so sparse in some areas where they hunt them that they hunt even the youngest ones that aren't even close to adulthood. And when some of the species go extinct the wold's oceans will face a major crisis. Won't be any sharks to get money from after that. Educating these people hunting the sharks would help. Banning shark fin soups all together would be good, no sales, no slaughtering.

Extinction of a competitor of ours isn't really a bad thing. It may lessen diversity but it won't kill the ocean. With sharks gone those populations rise and other predators fill in the gap left by the sharks and grow to larger numbers. @chade1983 Like coral reefs. Nearly 25% of all marine life depends upon coral reefs. And sharks help keep the necessary balance around the coral reefs, without the sharks the diversity of life around the coral reefs would lessen dramatically.
I've started to have just about enough of this, so if you still can't see anything wrong with your views after reading the links behind those search words then it really is a shame.

People think if they can find a website that agrees with them, that means what they are thinking is validated and true. What it means is someone else who had your same thought once searched for a page covering your train of thought, couldn't find one, then created one to fill in the gap.Type in anything in Google and you get results. It proves nothing.

@Natheyja If you think you know how to manage an entire ocean you're delusional. There are genetic "Arcs" that have a massive storage of all the animals on Earth. If something goes extinct, it is already on file and can be cloned and genetically engineered or re-engineered. Sharks will never go extinct because of this. If we kill all of them and it's bad, we can just clone them and put them back into the ocean. Hell, we could genetically engineer them and make them more efficient killers.
