if i were to consider amagami ss' haruka or kaori arcs, then both haruka or kaori have the same theme with mao.. for haruka, she and mao has the common theme of being a year older than the male leads while if it is kaori (ignoring the one year age gap of mao and kouichi), then both kaori's common theme with mao is that they both ended up with their respective childhood friends

After doing research about this anime that I love so much, I've come to a conclusion! :D. I was a full-Hoshino fan and was completly mad about the ending.. HOWEVER, the reason why Kouchi fell in love with his childhood friend, making some fans mad is because it, is the reason why love is so unexplainable since we don't know why we love. I think the directors were trying to get that point across? Whatcha think?

I'm a STRAIGHT GUY AnD I LOVE THIS SoNG!! Does that make me wimpy? Yes.... I loved kimikiss but I wanted kouchi x hoshino. Mao is a manipulative bich who crys and shows her emotions infront hoshino and kouchi which made him feel guilty. Anyhow I liked aihara x futami becuase futami started the anime with one word sentences to crying laughing and emotions.

This anime doesn't have a Proper ending, although it has a good start but has a unsatisfactory ending (about breaking up with Hoshino and hooking up with his childhood friend, Mao). The story did not convinced me why the guy ended up with Mao. Toradora has the same story of this anime but it has a proper, convincing, and really satisfactory ending~!

Yeah, I felt bad for Hoshino, Sakino, and Kai but that's the way the cookie crumbled. MaoxKoichi is great and AiharaxFutami was really cute too. Tsundere (spelled wrong probably) Futami and straight forward Aihara, and onee-san Mao with kind younger Koichi.
