i enjoy the guitar and the finish but i have the the standard petrucci with no peizo with birds eye maple neck and a Bfr black burst and this jp50 is caca compaired to these, I cant set the action the way i like it and the bridge is no where near the U.S . model, it sounds good only after you put the d-sonic and air nortin in. good guitar but not worthn 500 art all, maybe 300

Hi! I would just like to know, How does the pick up selector work for the JP50? does it split the humbuckers into single coil mode? or does it switch like a standard Les Paul?

@SmokyUnltd the center position is parallel wiring so the output drops a little, but you get a chimey single coil type tone. Its not true coil splitting in the middle position.

1-Bridge humbucker full

2-all 4 coils with slight drop in output, more single coil type tone

3-Neck humbucker full
