διαβασα σε ενα αρθρο οτι μεσα στο 2012 τα a 7 θα περασουν στην ιστορια και οτι μεχρι το 2014 θα ακολουθησουν τα f και rf 4 φαντομ.ετσι η ελλαδα στον αερα θα μεινη τελειος γυμνη αφου θα ειπαρχουν μονο τα μιραζ 2000 και 2000-5 και f-16 block 40,50,52+ και δεν σημαζευεται.αν γεινη αυτο θα ειναι το μεγαλητερο λαθος απο το υπ.εθ.α τα a 7 εχουν πολλα ακομα να προσφερουν στην πολεμικη αεροπορια αλλα ακομα και ετσι να εχει η λογικη λεει οτι δεν αποσειρης κατι αμα δεν εχεις μεριμνηση για την καληψη του

The A-7H and TA-7H Corsair IIs were retired in 2007. The A-7E and TA-7C Corsair IIs are still operational and are based at Araxos, Greece.

I used to fly with this legend for 13 years serving at this legendary squadron 345. I have contributed too in making this film and i am very proud of this. I honor this aircraft and the pilots who died with it serving OUR COUNTRY.

@zaxos345 My wifes father W.E. Crowder was one of the engineers who worked on designing this jet. He also was the one who suggested the name Corsair II after the WWII Corsair.

I was an ordie in A-7E 's for 7 years and those ugly little birds carried everything the navy had, ordnance wise and carried surprisingly enough...A BUNCH!!! 1019 rounds of 20mm 6 wing stations and 2 fusalage missile stations loaded out = alot of hurt on the bad guys!! Close air support was the specialty of Corsair drivers. No slack in light attack!!!

Θρυλικό αεροσκάφος!! Πιστεύω πως σε δύσκολα χρόνια (70s-80s), η παρουσία του και μόνο απέτρεψε πολέμους με την Τουρκία... Του οφείλουμε μία ιδιαίτερα τιμητικό αποστρατεία (κανάν εκπαιδευτικό βομβαρδισμό των Σκοπίων πχ;)!!

Its one of the most beautifull things to see a Corsair flying on roof tops with some 450kts, then climb and dive directly to the target.Its gonna be lost around the cliffs before you realize it was a Corsair!!!

They are nicer looking than when they were US Navy aircraft. The HAF paint scheme makes the A7 a more powerful looking aircraft. I was very much involved with the rework/upgrade of the US Navy aircraft being transitioned to HAF aircraft.
