I swear to god i get the goosebumps watching these Droid ads when i'm stoned. I mean i own the Droid and i know just how fucking sick it really is. Droid Does nuff said.
P.S All stoners should download the "420" notifier app. Sure as a stoner you would subconsciously know when it's 4:20pm but sometimes you're just soo stoned you don't even notice. LOL!
To bad layer is a horrible app, It's something I would really like to see actually work well, no mater how many times I update it, plus I live in the suburbs so there isn't much use for it anyway.
Layar looks awesome but what's with the location? It's showing Gastown in Vancouver (BC) but claiming it's Portland. [1]
Is the app really inaccurate or does the ad agency think Americans wouldn't buy a Droid if you showed them anything 'foreign'?
[1] I can't post a link so go to Google Maps, type in "veras, gastown", click on Street View, admire the statue of Gassy Jack and then turn around to look behind you. Or go to bitly and type in apPUwx
@quack100 That may look like the area of Vancouver that you are talking about, but it's Portland, I walked by that building a few days ago and I certainly wasn't in Canada.

It's not just the pointy building... the road markings, lampposts, other shops, roof lines... they all match. My guess is that Verizon commissioned it from a Vancouver ad company. Like the Citroen UK ad that shows Vancouver landmarks (search YouTube for 'Citroen Robot Dance')
@mrtcconway Not really. Because you have to hold your phone up and spin around to see what is around you in 360 degrees. Now you may look like a tool while doing it...but you can find some interesting things around you, that you can WALK to! :p
