Based on YouTubers' feedback to these "E15M" videos, clearly most participants don't find the program and presentation to be cheesy.
As to the documentary version here, the opening music dies away to leave only the sound of the dialogue and environment: very effective segue! Besides, the music fits the target audience better than say Schoenberg or the Ink Spots.

this is cheesy as hell and the rap-rave music makes it seem like a joke.
drunk driving isn't funny and this video is a serious mockery of what it's trying to deter.

Exquistely shot. A very graphic recreation of the aftermath of a drunk driving accident. Very gritty and realistic, true to life. Shockingly moving.
