  • oh my gosh!! I get soooooooooo Freakin' NERVOUS when I have to deliver a cake with 3 or more tiers!!!

  • @NurseGreeneyesRN me toooooooo

  • i made a cake for my fiance's b-day.yeap,is a lot of work.them people want to help, but the best thing is for them to stay away...because you know what you need to do =)

  • @alttab7890 lol yes indeed

  • Nice fix!

  • @mediate27 thanks!! i try

  • what type of fabric do u use and how do u apply fabric to a cake.

  • Are you talking about the ribbon? The best ribbon to use would be the grossgrain (sp?), the one with the ridges. This one here is satin ribbon. On one end of the ribbon put a little buttercream just go around the cake. End with another dab of buttercream to stick. I know someone who does it another way but for the life of me I can't remember what she does lol

  • LOL! girl I was Sweating, screaming and bitting my nails watching this video! but you guys did an awsome job!

  • I have man hands but a girl's heart =]. This cake looks beautiful. The scrolls were evenly spaced, beautifully piped and very well executed. The colors are very fresh and goes very well with the garden. I truly enjoyed every second of this video.

  • Thanks RylanTy!

  • I was so nervous for you just watching this video. I don't think people realize just how much time and work goes into making a cake and decorating it. For me the worse part is alwayse delivering it. Glad to see it all worked out in the end.

  • That's the worse part for me too. THe delivery. Hubby knows if I go with him, its not going to be a fun trip! lol

  • lol, ah, makes me glad God made me freakishly strong, no way would hubby be allowed to do that!! He's done his share of bumps and finger prints but he's pretty good with being careful if I do need him to carry cake.

Awesome job on the cake, it was gorgeous!!

  • Thank you!! Unfortunately, with my hand still in a splint I would have dropped it!! lol but he was a good sport

  • When do you get to have it taken off? Does it feel ok?

  • well its a splint so i can take it off whenever, but orthopedist said to keep it on all day except for showering...physcial therapist said the same..blech i cant work with it so i had to get the one im wearing in the video that supports but is flexible

  • Thank God our men put up with us when we get aggravated at them while decorating or setting up. lol. I was in near tears with the wedding cake I just did because the bottom tier came out of the pan in the shape of a U. But, he stuck by me and saw it til the end with me. God I love him. Excuse me while I go give him hugs and kisses. lol. beautiful cake btw. AS ALWAYS!!!

  • You said it!!! 98% of the time he lets me rant and rave and takes it in stride lol

  • Yes! I cold tell you were annoyed! LOL! I was annoyed watching it! OMG! Man hands be damned!!! LOL! The cake was gorgeous despite the man hands damage! Good job in the repair! Like it or not, sometimes we need the muscles of a man.... It's give and take I guess! Beautiful cake! I have never been more nervous watching a video then I was watching this one! :) Haha! LOL!

  • my sister was sooo nervous. it was a four hour round trip to deliver this cake..very nerve racking!!!

  • Yes, I was nervous...Never realized the importance of having gentle hands when handling a cake...The cake was beautiful though! The sister.

  • lol! but the cake was pretty and summery so was the venue
