Campaign is great, very enjoyable and takes quite a bit of time and effort to complete, especially if you do it on Brutal difficulty (which is actually the most fun anyway). Some missions on normal even are tough. It's much easier to play as opposed to the original SC and WC3 but is still a lot of fun.
getting templars with storm upgrade is almost at the top of the tech tree, only carriers and mothership is above it. it takes tons of of time and is its expensive. mmm is avalaible early, cheap and very very effective. especially with stim. kolossi fail without tons of stalkers, zealots and sentries around it. and with vikinks, you should have a million stalkers, or 10 phoenix as well. omg
@cent4urus Medivacs are tier three units. And there was probably a good 5-10 minutes in this game where the protoss could have easily dropped down the two tech buildings. He just simply choose to stick with what he had and expect a win through brute force confrontation vs stimpack, which isn't going to happen. Watch tester vs masq, in the final battle the terran's army didnt even reach tester's main force before they got raped by storms.
Just look at all the units available to counter Protoss from Terran, seriously. Those vikings took out Colossus way too easy with their range and rate of fire. And with that, MMM combo just wipe out the entire Protoss ground force. With a little harass and some weird combo, Zerg (just look for Masq vs. Idra and etc.) gets wipe out from Terran easily too. So the main question is.. why is the Terran race overpowered compared to the others?

HD - they're not dropships. They're medivacs. They heal, you know. They're better than only for drops. Terran just never gets punished for anything in SC2.

@ellep123 A lot of players who played SC:BW still refer to them as dropships. Same with Spine Crawlers being called Sunkens. What's the big deal? I even do it sometimes. Starcraft is still the best game. Starcraft 2 is amazing, but it's nice to keep some SC:BW terms.
They have a better range of versatility which is probably the most significant. Siege tank dmg needs to be reduced (again) or psi storm/fungal growth dmg need to be increased.
But of course, I'm just another fanboi making suggestions to designers who already have enough people making suggestions that probably feel like a fist up their ass. But I digress.

no, I didn't forget about the clock...I just didn't add that part in. The point wasnt that you have all the time in the world in chess, it is that you have MORE time. and if you pay attention to moves as your opponent makes them, it really doesnt take much time at all =P.

I feel that the Protoss player should've done a bit more harassment, especially after the Terran player made that worthless Hellion push- if he simply waited or sent them to the fogged out areas, he'd of been golden for terrible, terrible damage against the probes. The biggest other issue I had with the Protoss player is that in game 2/2, he didn't build a templar archive early enough; he -knew- what the Terran did in the last game and yet he didn't change his build.

@19i2000 Blizz nerfed zerg by adding this stupid creep idea, they have lowered ALL units speed, except lings. Terran and toss has observer and raven - where's your creep tumors then? Zerg always has to fight off the creep, with ridiculously slow units, which supposed to be mobile and fast.
The problem is that T to use race to their fullest has to use A-click, stim and siege. WOW! And i dont have to tell you how many things zerg and toss have to do, to counter A-click terran... T is op period

@KiriNoKitsune Really, your not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Ever attacked Mutas with thors? Ever attacked Lings with hellions? Its called hellion thor, and against mutaling it dominates. Mirror match up, roach hydra plox, roaches lol at lings hydras kill mutas. Done. Protoss have high templar which can just storm the crap out of lings and mutas, not to mention a standard protoss army with well used guardian sheilds. Mutas are the most inefficient fighting unit in the game.
@Cy3nna The reason zerg are switching to terran is because ZERG not protoss can't do much to them sometimes. The only time it gets imba is when you have a well managed mech army against zerg, as a 200 Zerg army against a 200 Terran mech army(with already sieged seige tanks) is total slaughter, as the terran will not lose more than 50 supply. Terran is the easiest race though. I play random BTW.

If you were new to his vids and come across part 2 and start watching it, a link to part 1 makes sense as well. @Karterii Because chess has different openings and so does SC2? That's about the only similarity. Once you scout what they're doing, you make you build to beat it, and they make theirs to beat yours. After that it's just a bunch of reverse psychology in the same way that "I'm gonna beat you with paper!" causes a bunch of reverse psychology. Now, I'm not limiting it to that similarity, just giving an example. It is much more complex than rock, paper, scissors.
Terrans way IMBA as we all just saw 2 armys with the same food count fight toss having the better mix of units (sentrys for shield, stalkers for marines, lots to take damage and kill muroders) but still loses without the terran even microing it so fun to watch...
@rivalwaffle So if 2 armies of the same food count collided and we saw Protoss win that means Protoss is imbalanced? Maybe just accept that the Terran was better positioned? Terran army should be stronger anyway, since its much easier for a protoss to reinforce (with warpgates) and to expand / establish and economy.
Both players are extremely skilled. First time leaving comments on HDstarcraft video, and this is certainly well worth watching. There are tons of things to learn.

I feel that the Protoss player should've done a bit more harassment, especially after the Terran player made that worthless Hellion push- if he simply waited or sent them to the fogged out areas, he'd of been golden for terrible, terrible damage against the probes. The biggest other issue I had with the Protoss player is that in game 2/2, he didn't build a templar archive early enough; he -knew- what the Terran did in the last game and yet he didn't change his build.

MMM >>> Zerg and Protoss almost any strategy. Imba unique combo that requires only A-click to destroy even bigger size army. Terrans have better mobility with stimpacks and medivacs than the zerg (who supposed to have most mobile units) but looking at hydras and rouches of the creep makes me sad...

@19i2000 Blizz nerfed zerg by adding this stupid creep idea, they have lowered ALL units speed, except lings. Terran and toss has observer and raven - where's your creep tumors then? Zerg always has to fight off the creep, with ridiculously slow units, which supposed to be mobile and fast.
The problem is that T to use race to their fullest has to use A-click, stim and siege. WOW! And i dont have to tell you how many things zerg and toss have to do, to counter A-click terran... T is op period

@65sa That means nothing, everyone in the world thinks that T is op. I was thinking to play as T, but I simply prefer playing as Zerg, because they're my fav. If the zerg was OP, would you enjoy leaving your fav terran and play as Zerg, which you dont even like? Same thing with every zerg or toss players. Only hoping for blizz to fix theese imba MMM, counters almost everything, mobile as hell, killing almost 1.5 bigger size enemy army

@KiriNoKitsune Really, your not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Ever attacked Mutas with thors? Ever attacked Lings with hellions? Its called hellion thor, and against mutaling it dominates. Mirror match up, roach hydra plox, roaches lol at lings hydras kill mutas. Done. Protoss have high templar which can just storm the crap out of lings and mutas, not to mention a standard protoss army with well used guardian sheilds. Mutas are the most inefficient fighting unit in the game.

@Cy3nna The reason zerg are switching to terran is because ZERG not protoss can't do much to them sometimes. The only time it gets imba is when you have a well managed mech army against zerg, as a 200 Zerg army against a 200 Terran mech army(with already sieged seige tanks) is total slaughter, as the terran will not lose more than 50 supply. Terran is the easiest race though. I play random BTW.

If you were new to his vids and come across part 2 and start watching it, a link to part 1 makes sense as well. Making it easier to get to the different parts if he's going to make them different parts is beneficial for many reasons. Think before you write pls. /facepalm

Sooooooo sick of Terran wins. Seriously. Sick of it. I think I'm done with these commentary replays until Blizzard addresses the balance issues that are simply overwhelming at the moment. It's stopped being "may the best man win" and now feel like "may the Terran player be significantly worse than the Protoss/Zerg to give them a fighting chance of winning." Boring. Poor design. Predictable. And the fact that HD is trying to make it SOUND interesting is even more infuriating.

@Karterii Because chess has different openings and so does SC2? That's about the only similarity. Once you scout what they're doing, you make you build to beat it, and they make theirs to beat yours. After that it's just a bunch of reverse psychology in the same way that "I'm gonna beat you with paper!" causes a bunch of reverse psychology. Now, I'm not limiting it to that similarity, just giving an example. It is much more complex than rock, paper, scissors.

Terrans way IMBA as we all just saw 2 armys with the same food count fight toss having the better mix of units (sentrys for shield, stalkers for marines, lots to take damage and kill muroders) but still loses without the terran even microing it so fun to watch...

@rivalwaffle So if 2 armies of the same food count collided and we saw Protoss win that means Protoss is imbalanced? Maybe just accept that the Terran was better positioned? Terran army should be stronger anyway, since its much easier for a protoss to reinforce (with warpgates) and to expand / establish and economy.
